What's new

The US is making a mockery of democracy, and China must be loving it

so China is talking from a pedestal now?? isn't Xi still fighting corruption in China? If anything China has become more like the U.S than it wants to admit.

China has its own billion dollar social media multinational corporations experimenting on artificial intelligence, virtual reality and smart driving, competing the best in the field.

Glad that US social media were kept out of China market (because they happened not to be willing to conform to the law of the land).

Our money, our innovation, our employment. Now we intend to beat their companies on their home turf. Is that so bad? Maybe for an Indian.

Wish you will keep your FB until hell freezes over. That's good news for us.

It is sad to see some people are brainwashed by their "free media", which, ironically, is the solo reason of their pride.

And it is an irony. Indians dream of India 2020 with many White servants cleaning streets and pushing carts along the shiny streets of India.

Yet, they are proud that they are able to use FB, the creation of the same people that they know will become servants within the next 4 years.

That's contradiction in terms.

There would have been a revolution if China was like US and kept average family income at early 90's level.

Of 300million, a clown and a liar is the best choice for sheep on the street to select to run a country.
I'll agree with that, but the rest of your statement is false. Meaning you are as knowledgeable about our system as the average American Sheep. That's ok since you're a foreigner.

Ha ha ha. It's not the best and brightest that are leaving China. It's the people that can afford it. The competition in China is too much for them.
Read the article.
Nothing in the article says that ... At least not for China. He he he.

Well off my mind I can name you a lot of Electorial democracy countries that have fail.

They are all in front of you everyday in the media and on TV. If only you can see.

I am not going to claim electoral democracy has worked everywhere
The Chinese model cannot be copied

Sure, and again it is just your assertion, not backed by anything that would support that pov. If you wish to delude yourself, be my guest. The rich tend to be able to afford more and better education for their off-spring, which in turns increases their chances in any system. State support not withstanding.

Corruption has nothing to do with system of government. Nor has it anything to do with culture or race. The level of corruption of a country is more related to the level of development of the country.

Name me a poor developing country that is clean.

As a country develops and it's system of law and order become stronger and more transparent, corruption will reduce.

Having little or no corruption forms the basis for a properly funtioning market and government by law (i.e. equal treatment, rule applies to all).

The only country in the world I can think of as a clean country now is North Korea.

All the data from Transparency International can be fake, as with data from many US-controlled organizations, but a country who stand up right over decades cannot be fake.

A very small, with limited resource, but has ball to fight the US must be very clean, otherwise, it will collapse easily.

The same with North Vietnam during the war.
