Bogus to say the least! They were fully immersed in Arab nationalism and secularism instead of Islam. It is very recent phenomenon that Arabs and periphery is returning to Islam and actually taking it seriously after over a couple centuries of continuous decline.

Arabs are 15% to 20% of the muslims and they do not matter. Islam does not mean arab, it does not depends on numbers or majority, it does not mean you will be a winner in every battle, it does not means yours hands full of gold and prosperity, it means inner peace via full submission and life time struggle and sacrifices. There's a big misunderstanding in the West regarding the religiosity of Muslims in general and Arabs in particular.

This poll isn't really stating anything informative. Why? Because people would've said the same if the question was about secular leaders and secular parties.

This is a misinterpretation of the Muslim world. Arabs and other Muslims are in general sick of any kind of politician. The current political system is in crisis regardless of the current governments across the Middle East.
