Are you talking about the self protection pods? If so, then I'm pretty sure it's Turkish. Mirages have western sensors and avionics so not compatible with the Chinese ECM pods and the americans haven't supplied any to us. Goes to show ya, the Turkish pods made a fool out of the best the Russian and isreali systems deployed during the attack.

If my assumption is correct, then thank you Turk brothers.
And, guess what???? The Turkish EW systems are the brain children of the folks from my Alma mater!!! In my first class in Electromagnetics a good many decades ago our Professor was talking about the advancements in EW due to the research programs...

A completely off topic post but, I'd love to know if you could recommend a textbook for electromagnetism. Have been thinking of going for post graduate studies in applied physics.

They could have run to the Bear asking for halt of engines, just the way they ran to good 'ol unca sam

Bear too, isn't going to be fooled on that level but will keep in contact after all it's about $. They know how Delhi signed LEMOA with US and recently, more agreements to provide every service in time of needs. Hadn't been for money, things would have changed too quickly an year ago. Snow land wouldn't deny China & we have established the base for Start of relations. Geopolitics, strategical diplomacy & CPEC will pay off soon.

PLAAF & PAF have a very strong working relationship. IF PAF can do this, what can the PLAAF deliver.....

On the Iraqi's - I read a book written by a USAF Gen in charge of Allied Air Forces in the 1st Gulf War, and he said something like this: "the Iraqis had been trained by the Soviets, French & Pakistanis. It is the Pakistani training we hoped wouldn't kick in." I'm recalling this from memory, so armchair generals and keyboard warriors, kindly don't hound me if I'm a word off or two.
Imagine if the PLAAF's experience in flying with the PAF kicked in over the south China seas... 8-)

Its not just JF and SD-10 and 15. Its the PAF and Army doctrine to fight a modern war, things they learned from 10 years of war on terror, its the net centric warefare approach that Pakistan armed forces are implementing for last decades or two. Its not just the Chinese equipment but mastery in using those equipment that produces the ultimate results.
