Most of the Turkish defense project are either joint ventures with foreign nations or copied from foreign designs like Altay which is actually a south Korean K-2 Black Panther, but @MMM-E wont understand
Thank you for your information, mate. However, let's be fair though, Altay is not a copy of K2 Black Panther. Altay may employ some technologies from K2, but I believe it is distictive enough to call a separate tank. Plus, their many of UAV programs are indeed indigenous and pretty impressive. However, I am not so sure about their future UAV programs that employ unreliable Ukrainian engines.
Overall, I do think Tukish defence industry is doing great, but I just don't see them overtaking likes of GE Aviation and so on. That's completely insane.
