As we were having prolonged discussion regarding SY-400 and missile technology of Myanmar in BAF forum which is not the appropriate place, so I have created this new thread regarding the topic. Please feel free to post your opinions.

So as I was saying, Myanmar can never produce Nukes as they don't have the technology or money. But with ToT they can produce conventional MRBM and that's not too difficult if you have the blueprint.

there is a lot we can not say but know. But regarding North Korea we do have some ToT that is publicly known. 240MM MLRS and 122MM MLRS are both ToT form North Korea.

Myanmar has diplomatic relations with DPRK. Embassy was not closed. But civilians cannot tell anything about the relationship between the Tatmadaw and dprk.

Okay. But I think without North Korea no one would proliferate Ballistic missile technology to Myanmar not even China and Russia. North korea gave BM technology to Iran and Pakistan too.Shahab 3 and Ghauri

we can already make Medium-Range SAM. We have people who learned various courses in Russia, China, and India. Ranging from Rocket Engineering to Nuclear Physics and everything in between. So I believe we can make an MRBM if we wanted to. Who knows we might have already made it.

Lol India. I personally hate Myanmar and even Bangladesh keeping any defence ties with India. This is because unlike China, Russia and USA, India does not want its allies to become militarily stronger.

For example if you are allied with the US, then US will provide you with all sorts of American weapons and try to modernize your military. South Korea has a powerful army, thanks to US support. Same can be said for Russia and China. But India is not like them and is manipulative.

Myanmar under Than Shwe had a strong leadership. But Ming Aung Hlaing is a weak leader. He is bowing down like a loyal pet to India, China and others.
