The Top 5 Navies of the Indo-Pacific

.
Indian Navy is a little bit more advanced than the Chinese. So;
1-JMSDF
2-ROKN
3-IN
4-PLAN
5-US Pacific Fleet

In few fields, yes, but not in every sector.I think Japan has most properly balanced navy in Asia, though they lack a proper carrier(helo carriers can be used as carrier of STOVL Aircrafts like F-35) and nuclear subs with SLBM.but without these factors, their navy is pretty strong in every sector.and US Pacific Fleet is stronger than all of these. The USN Pacific Fleet consists of the numbered Third and Seventh Fleets, as well as Naval Air Force, Pacific; Commander, Naval Surface Forces Pacific; Naval Submarine Force, Pacific; and other commands. The naval shore commands Commander Naval Forces Korea; Commander Naval Forces Japan; and Commander Naval Forces Marianas are also under the authority of the Pacific Fleet.so,they dwarf every other nation with this massive force. :usflag:

Are you freaking me?

The US Pacific Fleet is about 2/3 strength of the entire USN.

I only meant the vessels responsible in the region. Not the entire fleet of course. But for the us fleet in the area, there's no way to match with any other navy on the list.

Just because you haven't heard it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. I hope you don't consider yourself the encyclopedia of the world.

Here you go. Hopefully this will increase your knowledge

4. Indian Navy. New Delhi’s naval project continues to make fitful progress. Engineering problems with the Vikramaditya, nee Admiral Gorshkov, dominated headlines last year. Such deficiencies are correctable. More worrisome is the slow rate of “indigenization,” meaning the domestic defense industry’s capacity to design and manufacture high-tech military gear. Unable to supply its own needs, the Indian military continues to procure armaments from a variety of foreign suppliers, creating interoperability, logistical, and maintenance challenges for itself within the force. On the other hand, New Delhi has exhibited remarkable foreign-policy restraint, confining its ambitions to the realm of the achievable. So long as political leaders refrain from writing checks the Indian Navy can’t cash, the nation can tolerate quite a few fits and starts in its naval buildup.
I don't understand this reasoning. The writer is attacking the IN's lack of indigenization but his opening remarks are he is looking at capability. In terms of capability the IN and the PLAN are quite a bit higher than 4th and 5th. Addtionally not a word is uttered about the HUGE modernisaiton and capacity building plans of both navies. By 2020-22 the PLA(N) and IN will hold the top 2 spots in this ranking for sure.

+ the JMSDF is constitutionally limited in the offensive capabilities it is able to build up.

+ why has he omitted the fact that by 2020 the IN and PLA(N) will be the only navies in the region (excluding foreign powers) with CBGs on the high seas?

Very disingenuous to be honest. Not at all fair or accurate.

If you had not been one in your earlier post I wouldn't have replied you in the same breadth. Before preaching others look inside.

If go by the rules set by OP then we should select probable countries first.
There are 2 ways. 1st count only Asian countries because its the place which borders the region first.
2nd we can select 1 top country from sub regions by dividing the whole area then we can compare them.

But we have to remember 1 thing for sure that what respective navies have achieved so far that will be counted only. No number game or futures things.
