The only chance of forming some useful alliance against China died when the US withdrew out of the TPP. The "Quad" is nothing more than a force on paper .... what is needed is an economic bloc, not some half assed political bloc against China (hence TPP).India is already part of the Quad (which denotes four - US, India, Australia and Japan). I said I want this alliance to expand to include more countries, especially Pakistan.
Also, how does it follow that by joining this alliance Pakistan becomes India's subordinate? And no, not every alliance has a pecking order. Please study logic.
You are correct here but these conservatives typically do not say this in public or show any outward discrimination. What part of the South do you live in? I could certainly see states like Alabama or Louisiana being much more hostile towards Muslims than north Texas.I live in the US and used to live in the South. White conservatives hate sharia law and Muslim invaders.

Quad - 5 eyes - NATO relationship will strengthen inevitably this decade.
Too much is being pushed by China... that will need to be resolutely answered.

India is in both the SCO and the Quad ... as a result it won't go as far as say Australia in antagonizing China.Indian will shortly be kicked out of SCO as soon as India invites Australia to join Malabar exercises.

Democracy works in some countries but does not work in all countries. For example, do you think Russia is really better off with a democracy than without a democracy (a la USSR)? Or compare the development of a country like South Korea vs India. Both are democracies but the former is light years ahead.Countries don't realize it but you accentuate a weakness of China, and China makes sure its weakness is turned into a strength. You can not defeat a country whose workers want to work hard and be modern.
Somewhere in the discussion it gets lost the democracy is the weakest form of government. Kingdom is the strongest. But CCP is a compromise; China is smart and adapts well to challenges thrown at it.

Indeed, it has been said that democracy is the worst form of government except all those other forms that have been tried from time to time." While others, may be more prepared to describe existing democratic regimes as anything but "rule of the people."
Before anyone quotes me in futility spreading their indiocy, realize that in a democracy not all Americans are anti-China though their propaganda-ridden government might well be. Such an opposition to China is weak and hurts their own country more than China.
As they say 'work hard and keep your mouth shut' would be the best policy if they want to contain China. Sportsman keep following this principles to win Olympics. Give us better products at better rates and even Pakistan will forget China. But would you (the arrogant QUAD) do that? LOL

China's not going to be put on the defensive by a trade agreement, especially not when it's putting together one of its own (involving many of the members of the TPP).Perhaps the next administration can revive the TPP and put China back on the defensive.
That you use the term "easily" to describe this shows how deeply your wishful thinking runs. I read your response to my question in the other thread before the mod deleted it. It's clear to me that you're coming at this from an emotional perspective and believe this is a morality play. Geopolitics is nothing of the sort; let go of the emotional, moralistic grandstanding and start calculating things rationally. The US can defeat them easily if they play their cards right in this new Cold War.
Monumental... just how much of China's GDP did this "monumental" Indian decision cost it? And the recent scuffle along the LAC has only shown how impotent India is - all it can do is screech on social media and clownish television channels while China annexes yet more territory. Where are the global reactions?India's recent decision to ban Chinese products was monumental, the Chinese were completely not expecting that. The way to hurt China is economically for sure, not some border skirmish. The recent scuffle with India along the LAC has also exposed how stupid China is, how they are unable to anticipate global reactions to their adventurism.
