The Nefertiri conflict between germany and egypt

.
I don't wanna hear no more from you..... you Germans are robot like people. You don't have the necessary emotions to understand my post.

I do have the emotions. Im italian. And let me tell you, germans have those emptions too. Spare me your racism.

I feel deeply connected to old roman artifacts and the history of my people and find it insulting that you try to judge about other peoples feelings.

then we can say the same about Anglo Saxons returning Australia and America back to the natives. However, this matter is about stealing artifacts in other countries and not returning it on request of where it belongs, just like OP has stated.

according to UNO and international court it belongs germany. what now?

.
Thievery. No matter what, it's an Egyptian artifact. Moreover, the guy even made a bad quality photo and misled Egyptian officials. If it was a gift it could be a different situation.
There were no Egyptian authorities but ottoman authorities at the time. They got permission from the sultan to take 50% of the artifacts they found.

misleads authorities to get an artifact to Germany, then gets protected by law later. I wonder what your response would be if it was the Egyptians holding a prominent German artifact which they got their hands on in the same unfair way.

correct, but this case is between Germany and Egypt now, as we have no say about it anymore, right?

They made agreement with ottomans to take 50%. But like some said they mislead ottoman authorities and took more than 50%. If they have to give it back they will have to give it back to us :D. That is the legal way to do it. IMHO they should keep it. Egypt is being ruled by dictatorship. Who knows when a civil war will happen and those things will get destroyed.

Don't return nothing, so that when another revolution occurs the hoodlums can destroy it.
If they are loud, we can come back and take Suez on the grounds of it being vital for Europe. Or simply expedite the building of that that dam in Ethiopia, iirc European companies are involved!
there are riots in europe and the US too and it will only get bigger not to mention possible future race wars enjoy you future
the soon to be bankrupt west can try battle but it will end bad even more badly than what happened in iraq and afganstan for after a lot of years and lot of dead you could not control the ground

Lol did you run into a wall or something? I mean your nose is quite ugly for a roman tbh. You got what they call a "pheeni nose" in my village. Or it's just a bad selfie maybe?

1) The way I see no artefacts were "stolen". They were gifted to other countries by unrepresentative governments against the wishes of the people but that does not make the transfer illegitimate.
2) Egypt, Persia, Mesopatamia and other ancient Muslim civilisations were neglecting their heritage by the nineteenth century, associating it with their pagan past. It was those evil, thieving European imperialists who were largely responsible for reviving interest in much of this rich history.

to be bankrupt

I had a quick glance at aid for Egypt by EU, even before you quoted me, decided not to post, still won't, but, rest assured, you'll be running out much sooner.

If emphasis is given on nation destruction and not nation building the results will differ accordingly.

----------------------------------------

As for the topic, when Copts to whom these artifacts belong as the descendants of ancient Egyptians will have a larger role in shaping modern day Egypt, perhaps then, this issue can be revisited.
They (the Copts) might even take better care of it, as it is their history, and not the proverbial cash cow through which forex is squeezed through for the current (and past and even before that) power clique. You probably know what i'm talking about when i say tourists-cash cow.

gifted ? do you believe yourself ???
That's what they were. Nobody forcefully took them from Egypt. If I'm wrong then prove it to me.

What about Kohinoor, did we gave you that as a gift too?

The Kohinoor was genuinely stolen. But this article is about Egypt where items were either bought with money or given to museums in Europe not stolen as many posters have wrongly asserted.

I can't quite understand much of what you're saying here.
