The Mosul operation

no i meant alarabi but his comment is deleted. though no need for the example, it's not really news that the muslim world supports destroying each other

If they'd besiege Mosul and leave it in IS control you'd complain as well, if they did nothing you'd complain that Iran & Iraq support ISIS, if they liberate it you complain that they're killing innocent Sunnis. the truth is you don't care for those people stuck in Mosul, you just care for your state interests.

here's a Sunni politician who hates Iran criticizing Saudi for their fake concern.

https://defence.pk/threads/iraqi-su...audi-arabia-on-fake-concern-for-mosul.456015/

Where was your corrupt and sectarian Gov when first 300 Daeshis took over Mosul in 2014?
Why the hell they didn't take any action to secure the people of Mosul back then?
Your sick gov has been treating Sunnis like shit, even they ask those who live in Falujah to have sponsor just to enter Baghdad?
Your current gov which consist of bunch of terrorists who used to fight Iraq is no way to be accepted by Sunnis, and you know that.
Why don't you want Turkey to get involved and liberate Mosul like the other 30+ countries?
you need to understand Sunnis are concerned about this operation and the participation of JAHSH Militia and your Gov didn't even bother to prevent JAHSH Militia and Iran from getting involved.

I think it's time for Sunnis to have their autonomous region just like the Kurd did.

- Has the ISIS an alliance with Iceland?

-Is Iceland bordering with ISIS?

-Is Iceland fighting against ISIS?

-...etc...etc.

...please replace Iceland with the country you plan to list untill you come up with an argument.

Ok, lets select Iran.

Has the ISIS an alliance with Iran? - No

-Is Iran bordering with ISIS? - No

-Is Iran fighting against ISIS? - Yes

What does that prove?

....

Mate, I will stay away from the discussions for a while...there is so much non-logical, hate posts everywhere...

.
When you answer a question, you also have to show the proof for your answer, Do you have any? ...or answered them just to answer.

ISIS is not recognized as a country, thus has no borders that are recognized/Check.
Assad is fighting ISIS, Iraq are fighting ISIS. Both supported by Iran.
If you question that, I will just put You on ignore and go on with life.
You cannot prove the non existance of an alliance, so I will let you prove the alliance.
Lack of an attack by ISIS does not constitute proof as the Iceland example shows.

. .
Has ISIS a border with France?
What country's interests clash with those of France in region? I can list you of ours and those, they clash with then all the ISIS-PKK and Gulenist attacks and their timing. Seems, Iran's interests get along with those that ours clash in region. You better get the f*ck out with your stupid examples of Iceland.

Addressing some assumptions being made/as well as general points:

Myth 1.) Sunni's and Turkmen will not be harmed in any form of vengeance

These assumptions have been consistent by certain media for a couple years now, facts on the ground do not support them. On contrary, the Iraqi forces, including the PMU, behave a lot more responsibly than even some moderate groups in other conflict ridden areas of the region. There is also sunni and christian cooperation with PMU, Iraqi amy, etc.... almost all of Peshmerga is Sunni too( I believe so ...) ...

Myth 2.) PMU is sectarian due to some religious slogans

This is also unfair critique, these are people who want to live ordinary lives, faced a hard time under Saddam, and past decade have faced serious and indiscriminate attacks on population centers, places of worship, etc... Which is terror, and has people living in fear and many other psychological issues. And no doubt, religious slogans help raise morale of some, and it's understandable as people are emotional. This does not bother me nor indicate any reprisal. Many groups, if not all, also have religious slogans, and some that are directly intended at demeaning the Shia Muslims. PMU is the only option to assist the government and help lead in the battle, as no other force is willing to restore stability to Iraq or undertake difficult liberations

Myth 3.) Turkey will intervene or annex west Mosul

Also not true, Turkey is in cooperation with Baghdad gov't, to discuss post operation steps or cooperation, no one is seeking to deal with the situation. And it is not easy to deal with right now.

.........
.........

Point 1.) Locals need to cooperate

It's unclear if ISIS militants will flee or go underground, if they go underground, the locals need to cooperate to return Mosul to a stable city center and end all underground terrorism/insurgency.

Point 2.) Locals tired of ISIS

The locals are mostly sick of ISIS, the economy is not functioning properly, there is no security, and most of all, these militants are trying to enforce harsh laws and intimidating measures to keep people to be sitting ducks basically, not even live normally, and instill fear into Iraqi's of different backgrounds. And some of these measures they're taking are not even from the most, they are more extreme than 7th century Muslim Empires, and there way of life does not function not belong in the modern day, as a political structure. Religion can be practiced, but it can't be form of rule or law anymore. This has to be accepted by the masses and mostly is. If you expect some divine rule, than it has to clearly be a miracle or divine intervention. Nobody will tolerate beliefs or ideology to interfere in normal life, and clearly cause a failure out of the society everywhere it goes.

We cannot afford to live that way and take those gambles.

Point 3.) Some areas of Arab world need to accept reality

Certain elements in Arab world need to stop spreading mass hysteria or incitement to sectarian strife in response to changing realities in Iraq. Shia's are majority and that needs to be accepted. They are normal people, who want to move on with life, they have no conspiratorial agendas against neighboring nations. They are ruling by democratic means, and Iraq will move to progression/democracy if these elements stop inciting the region to sectarian drama and fear mongering.

This also affects some of their own people, who are being brainwashed through means of religion to sacrifice themselves and conduct insurgencies, commit massacres and abuses, and justify it by religion, this needs to end. People are throwing away their lives and becoming extreme, and have no ideology but killing and war, which affects mindset of people in region. And it needs to come to a stop.

.............
.............

So good luck to the united Iraqi state, hopefully they recover from decades of violence.

Why do you keep bringing up the religions of people? You are against Sectaraian violence then why do you not recognize them as simply Muslims, Why Sunni, Shia? Why not Iraqi?

Also the majority of ISIS recruits are not doing this out of Religious means, merely poltical ones and personal reasons as well as Forceful conscription.

I think it's time I don't bother with foreign Arabs who cry about sectarianism whilst they're the biggest ones. Open Wesal TV and have fun.

The Iceland example clearly shows that not beeing attacked by ISIS is not proof of anything.
The France example shows that you do not have a border with ISIS to be attacked.
Your comment is barely comprehensible. Recommend evening classes in English...

Interesting that Turkey is all of sudden concerned about "helping" Iraqis.

I wonder if Mosul will in some way implicate Turkey turning a blind eye to ISIS for the past three years and they want to go in and clean it all up before the Iraqis discover it on their own.

Yea...no. Progress is slow when ISIS actually fights back as opposed to what they are doing against you.
