A few things here which are being repeated.
- myth- Iranian soldiers in the mosul Operation.
Truth- there are no Iranian personal taking part in the operations. Even Qays alkhazali of AAH during a TV interview stated they are against any foreign ground in Iraq, whether it is Iranian, American or Turkish. There are government requested advisers and trainers only. The only forces are iraqi.
Myth 2- PMF has missiles towards Turkish camp Bashiqa.
Truth- only IA and ICTF are present in the region. They have full control of and pass by the camp regularly. Turkish troops are not leaving the camp to avoid confrontation. And they won't take part in the mosul offensive. there is no agreement between Baghdad and Turkey.
Myth 3 -sectarian shias want to commit genocide against sunni population
Truth.
Truth- Iraq is a majority shia country and it is natural for the army to be as well. But the real targets of the operations are IS AND their supporters. Iraqi forces don't know who's with or against IS except through locals. The truth is anti-IS sunnis are the ones preparing to take revenge much more then the "secterian shia militias".
The fact that there are many IS supporters doesn't mean we should leave them, it just means more terrorists to deal with. And there is nothing secterian about that.
