But this is very formal use of it but how do we use tabassum as verb in common peoples convo.

Like i know one could say " Uskay chehray pay tabassum a gaya" thats used as noun but as a verb havent heard use like usnay tabassum kiya.

I don’t know man, maybe pakistan had either changed by introducing more foreign words last 30 years or I’m just bad in Urdu...but I’ve lived in US since I’ve been a kid but speak fairly good Urdu with family

Tabassum farmana not kiya. Mentee nay ocean k masoomana svaal p tabassum farmai, in this way it could be used as a verb.

That’s what I’m ttying to get, my family are from Lahore punjsbis, they speak Punjabi n Urdu. I’ve never in my life heard this word used.

I’m assuming when you say Urdu words you mean words originally used from the land and people and not forigner introduced. Like Allah is not a Urdu word even though we know what it means.

urdu hee tor dee by saying tabasumm farmai. Tasbsumm is used as a masculine word.

Yes i wrote that in prev post that using farmaya seems possible but it is a very formal way , if i am writing about a common man i wont use farmaya "like meray jigri yaar fahad nay tabassum farmaya " lolz that will be awkward. so as a verb with a non formal word it can be used ? Thats what i dont recall. Anyways, i iwill check it in some urdu literature or novel.
