Indian authors are really good. Desi touch makes things a lot easier.

Did someone ever tried C++ in urdu. It was just horrible read.

Not much idea about C++ but if you are c programmer. Then yashwant kanitkar is best book for starters. And then when you move over to tricky questions "pointers in c" is best to deal with the hoopla of pointers.

My father was about to be posted to Delhi but he chose Jakarta instead. I was really upset. When I told my Indian friends that my father is almost set to be in delhi..... all of them were shivering(meri to lagnay wali hai. relations were really tense during that period). India is still in my list of places which I really want to visit before I die.

your wish will come true, just remember you will be there before you die :cheesy::cheesy:

Try Balaguruswamy and if C++ is concerned - Robert Lafore all the way....:)

Thank god they dont have himani publication. It had 1000 pages of syllabus squeezed into 100 to 150 pages. Himani was the savior for the last minute saviour for student like me. Used to mug up their sample papers for electical and electronic mandatory subjects which never got to my head......

Arihant publication is good while perparing for IIT-JEE. Their mathematics pack is awesome along with questions for organic and general chemistry. I still remember some question like
tan x = x find x something of that sort.... :P

there is one more book written by him on c which was meant only for tricky questions. I forgot the name. It has some ship in the ocean sort of cover. I read that book back in college when i was preparing for placement.

hey i also started c with deitel and deitel.....

I am sure, every country has good things to list and so does Pakistan. The problem is with people who stereotype a country and just do not want to change. I hate those people. I would love to visit Pakistan and hopefully enjoy spending time with some of good people there.

C programming - Deitel&Deitel and(Better) C Primer Plus- Stephen Prata . Kanetkar's book is for ancient "turbo c" :D no(c99) standards..
