The Losing deterrence of TNW. Time for Conventional solution of CSD?

Further to the above, we must operate on the assumption that India will start with a nuclear strike.

4. Devise an electro-magnetic rail gun launcher for Nasr to minimize launch signature that can be viewed by recon.

5. Recently, ballistic missiles have been air launched. Devise a long endurance drone that can carry nasr to within its 60 km range for launch.

6. Realistic decoys. The Russians have decoys that generate a heat signature. This is a must and should be acquired on high priority basis.

In general, don't get cowed by the enemy's posturing and start backing down from TNW doctrine. That is sheer stupidity. I take issue with people on this thread who are swaying towards increasing conventional capability.

Also remember that Nasr is a tactical solution and by definition faces all problems of a tactical solution. The enemy is posturing saying we will counter the tactical solution by known counters. The answer isn't to scuttle the tactical solution. The answer is a complete war fighting strategy.

4 for that we will have to develop next gen tnws which is not an easy task why because it has to tolerate some crazy gss 5 ?its far easier to hide a few trucks on ground rather than a large drone in air

what pakistan needs is a long range mlrs with sensor fuzed submunitions plus at least two squadrons of j16s/j11s

we also need to ramp up production of jf17s and al khalids

If you want to survive on the modern battlefield you need to evolve from 80s era conventional warfare mentality.

The 'large drone' can fire off the missile from within our own borders. It provides the ultimate in shoot and scoot because even if the launch is detected by the enemy, there won't be anything to fire back at.

the ground based launchers can also fire from within our own borders albeit with far less radar signature(coverage) and vanish into ground clutter.

that's a good question for connoisseurs of camouflage and concealment.

how can one make makeshift shelters for 8x8 launchers in above mentioned environment

The recon won't be based on visual identification only. There would be IR monitoring, millimetre wave radars, and finally detection for the launch signature of the quasi-ballistic missile.

camouflage and concealment in today's parlance includes radar ir and visual signature of a shelter so made.

. .
Good luck concealing all of that.
ground clutter need not to be natural it can be man made like few hundred badly made shelters like decoy trucks with similar ir, radar, visual, signature of the real camouflaged launchers etc

What technology can replicate the radar signature of the TEL? How do you hide the launch signature which is a significant event in itself?

sir you have some wrong notions about the proximity of these launchers vis a vis our border with india in sindh they will be at least 100 km away from the border giving enemy 1000ds of square kilometers to find them its not an easy task.

Ask spd they will tell you

You are not joking.. you want to replace tactical nukes.. that is still nukes.. the most frightening weapons developed by mere MLRS and two squadrons of which ever fighters you are in love with presently.

By the way.. Scuds were much larger and much visible and US had the best resources such as JSTARS and could fly where ever they chose because Iraqi air force had run away to Iran and their air defences were kaput. Iraq still ended up firing 80+ Scuds.

Also have you signed some treaty which binds you to not some other delivery mechanism for tactical nukes during war?

.
NASR can be deployed in the midst of the same, less and more range MLRS with air cover and mobile air defences.. what can India do (Assuming it is the aggressor with its CSD) ?

The max range of Nasr is 60 km, it would be ineffective 100km away from the border...
