Thats fun. I have yet to see a peer reviewed and proper caste based DNA genome database or research. Do you have one with you? If not, you are wrong about the above assertion. If you have one share it.
BTW, here is what a recent PEW poll discovered about Caste system in India.
0. Muslims adhare to caste system in India more stringently than Hindus. Eg, greater percentage of Muslims do not want their men and women to marry out of caste and do not have friends outside their caste. ie, in India, caste is NOT just a feature of Hinduism, its wide spread across all religions.

So leaving marriage and friendship (which are personal matters anyways), across different religions, most Indians (that includes Dalits, SC, ST and OBC) do not see much negative effect of caste system in India.
I guess its outsiders who are more concerned about Caste system in India than even Indian SC/ST/Dalits/OBCs.
