we have to see the big picutre.. Iraq needs massive rescontruction, bridges, telecome, internet, security, aviation etc etc ..all of this will need rapid cash which will lead to rapid pumping of oil benefitting americna economy with cheap energy.

Also, America would like to champion some kind of energy for reconstruction package which will inturn benefit american contractors. Then Obama can go around beating the drums of "economic revival".

American dont enter the war to win or neutralize and enemey. Their millitary complex is run by profiteers who are focused on best bang for buck!

900 Billion is well spent consider americans will have energy security for next 30-40 years and lots of business flowing in to american contractors.

REALITY CHECK : Commuist USSR fought the Germans on the Eastern front, without them, Britian and the US could not have defeated the Germans

REALITY CHECK : The only time you faught face to face with the communists was in Korea and Vietnam and both times you lost , later in Afghanistan you used 'Islamic Facists' to fight your one time allies i.e the 'godless' communists , without the 'Islamic Facists' you would have lost as you were too cowardly to fight the USSR head on
