How does the Indian public (despite being "educated" at large) constantly fall for these obvious scam gurus? I guess the 82 IQ average really speaks for itself.

Alot of peoples own insecurities and issues simetimes force even educated people into these scams

Like if a bahu can’t get pregnant they’ll visit some peer/baba for prayers and etc…….rather than going fir medical tests/medicines.
Then these babas prey on these mentally vulnerable women….

I’ve recently started reading the Ramayana, India has some interesting culture and history. Sadly we in Pakistan also have such charlatans and fake “peers” and “holy men” who prey on the innocent, naive and illiterate.

I’ve recently started reading the Ramayana, India has some interesting culture and history. Sadly we in Pakistan also have such charlatans and fake “peers” and “holy men” who prey on the innocent, naive and illiterate.

It has its moments, but is largely boring. Try to read the Mahabharata instead.
