Again, who told you Zaid Hamid is a Pakistani hero? There are plenty of belligerent figures sitting in India as well. Generalizing a whole nation on one personality isn't right.

Last time when I heard the equation was 1 pakistani=10 Hindu. I guess we are improving. I hope that India will imporve more and will not repeat history.

Pakistan is already trying some 6 ppl in connection with the attacks, but unfortunately in lahore high court or some such - the best friend of terrorists outside of rawalpindi.

The terrorist org is based in pakistan, trains in pakistan, raises funds in pakistan (even before the so called lift of ban as you claimed), plans attacks in pakistan, launches them from pakistani soil, coordinates from pakistani soil, the perpetrators are pakistani. The onus of gathering proof and making sure they don't operate is on pakistan. But since pakistan is a terrorist friendly state, they only look for lame excuses.

Do you contribute monthly to JUD, I'm sure many here do. And then they want compassion LOL!

I'm sorry, your equation doesn't make any sense.

Pakistan is a nation comprising of different religions, & India doesn't have Hindus only either. So the relationship in the equation is incompatible.

Without going into the merits of the author’s argument, this is a rather confused piece.

The author decries the tendency of Indians to ignore their long-term strategic interests by falling prey to negative sentiment. However, the rest of the article is an equally sentimental appeal with no pretence of analysis of Indian strategic interests.

I’m not saying the author is wrong in his condemnation of the schadenfreude among some Indians, but he has just thrown away a wonderful opportunity to enunciate what our rational response must be. Sentiment of the opposite variety is equally unproductive.

From a rational point of view, Pakistan has been seen by India as "Security buffer state" to ward off superpower influence, during the cold war era , and even now. So violation of Pakistani sovereignty by nation will be received with caution in India.
