Marghi = fluffy egg/sooji batter fried chicken

salli = fine potato fried vermicelli; boti = mutton/lamb

Macchi = Pomfret fish marinated in green coriander and chilly paste and wrapped in banana leaves and baked in steam

kolmi = spicy prawn tomato gravy (had with dhan daar = white rice and plain yellow daal on auspicious occasions/days)

One thing that I find very delicious that both Iran and Pakistan share is pashmak. I'm sure it was introduced to Pakistan from Iran.

It looks the same and is delicious and so sweet that it instantly melts in your mouth. I ate this a lot in my childhood.

You need to understand the full-context of such statistics. Chinese immigrants to the United States mostly came here as workers and poor immigrants; they started from scratch, little education from a culture that is extremely different.

Although, I don't like Irani food as much as Pakistani it is still more palatable than Arab food. Your kebabs are good, but Afghans make better kebabs. Indian food is complete trash no matter which restaurant I try it from. Also your tea or kavah is good. Especially the one with zaffran. It is very good for digestion after eating a heavy meal.
