The Foreign Policy Essay: Why China Will Become a Global Military Power

.
Bragging? If I'm bragging, I would use current growth rate and you will be SHOCK. Everything is just humble just as it is our blood. LOL

Now tell me what you are today and not in some future 2030.

Now tell me what you are today and not in some future 2030.

Today we are a $10.4 trillion economy, with around $4 trillion in currency reserves.

Our currency reserves alone are more than double the Indian GDP.

But that is not much to be proud of, considering that India is poorer than the continent of Africa.

Today we are the 2nd biggest GDP spending at around a small $150 billion. We are currently "experimenting" and "sharpen" up our weapon system before mass produce across the board in 2020s. In 2020s, we will have at least 3 AC super battle group, along with top drone, hypersonic weaponry, and state-of-the-art nuclear missile to keep our enemy at bay.

As I said when Countries grow their size of economies grow and currency reserves grow. Just look back 20 years where was Chinese economy.

Read again what Kalam said and in which context.

China too had 'more poor' than whole of Africa till recently. Things change when Countries move forward.

Here, I'll quote what your President Kalam said exactly:

"Though I have envisioned India to become a superpower by 2020, the attitude and the confidence of the youth, to conquer everything in the right spirit, would make the country a global leader and super power within five years," Kalam told reporters.

.
I believe @Viet was saying China wetting her pants now that Japan has increased defense budget
Mine is dry, how about yours CD?
Everyday chinese state media spews endless propaganda against Japan. But hey, I believe the japanese see chinese bullshit as a source of entertainment.

You are big because of your population. Try per capita or HRD index and then compare

LOL India is always hilarious! They basically boast and brag while we will simply let the foreigner brag for us. That is the difference in attitude between the two. LOL

That is right...he was encouraging youth to take up science and didn't brag that India will have become 2000 Trillion economy

. .
if U.S no longer lay their force in every place of the world, who want to be a global power?

No, your President just bragged that India would become a "superpower", which is out of reach for any country except America.

Doesn't matter how big an economy is, being a superpower is a class above that.

Whereas Chinese leaders always say that China is still only a developing country, which is the truth:

China still largest developing country in world: Hu Jintao - Xinhua

Despite having a similar population to India, yet a $10.4 trillion economy, we are still a developing country. India is poorer than Africa, so it's nothing to be proud of.
