No Taliban load up a truck full of bomb and blow up the checkpoint killed many security force, if the suicide bomber easily give away their dynamite strap on their body, how the fudge so many suicide bomb attack during the US occupation? I will say this now, Suicide bomber does not impact Physically to Armed Force, most of the time it will get defused. And judging from my own tour, 1 out of 8 or 9 get through. If Suicide Bomber indeed create havoc like you said, then the US would not, I say again, NOT only have 4500 Killed in Iraq and 2900 killed In Afghanistan. Would have at least casualty rate in Vietnam era number

The casualty for allied force were low because major checkpoint were men by the Afghanistan force. Even the checkpoint at the entrance to the US compound were led by the Afghanistan force and not the US troop.

US Army man check point too, we all man our Check Point, Afghan force have a different base than ISAF force, ANA man their own check point and we man ours.

I pull alnost half my time overthere manning check point...

China Sending Elite Army Medical Team to Liberia

BEIJING--China said it would send an elite military medical team to Liberia to run a treatment center for Ebola victims, as it stepped up its involvement in helping the strategically important region grapple with the deadly disease.

China’s Foreign Ministry on Friday said it would send 480 medical staffers from the People’s Liberation Army to manage and operate the center. Once completed, the number of experts and medical staffers it has sent to Africa to fight Ebola would rise past 700.

“Currently, the epidemic in West Africa is far from under control and poses a real threat to the people of the epidemic-stricken countries and the whole world,” said Lin Songtian, director of the ministry’s African affairs department, according to the official Xinhua News Agency.

The plan comes as the U.S. and other countries call for a stepped-up response to the disease. More than 1,100 U.S. military personnel are working in Liberia or Senegal, and the Pentagon is looking at sending nearly 3,000 more to West Africa if needed.

As I posted earlier, wanna see the US lead another force, with PLA if applicable, into northern Nigeria and protect those kids, women and elderlies from Boko Haram. More than 2,000 already massared for Chrissake, dam that's crazy.
