When a nation is threatened by various terror groups you first wage war and neutralize those terror groups that are attacking the state. Then you neutralize other terror groups that have not picked up arms against the state yet. Our constant attempts to bring Taliban to the peace table shows how willing we are towards peace in the region. After take care of our threats we will then take care of the threat to the other nations...

Is the situation not safer now? Are we not freely celebrating holidays and are moving out without fear of terror attacks. These liberal idiots believe that they know everything but have no idea how hard it is to beat terrorism. Its a decades long process and considering how nations are suffering are from terrorism, we have done a pretty decent job so far. Solution cant be presented in a day nor the military is the only solution bringer. The civilian administration has to do a great job as well.

The moratorium and the hanging if Hussain. First of all the capital punishment should never have been stalled. The reason why so many other prisoners are getting hangings as well is bcz the moratorium stalled the death sentences and we are literally currently finishing the piled up stalled hangings and besides the moratorium from hanging was lifted on all those who receive the death sentences. It nowhere contained the phrase that the moratorium is being lifted for only prisoners who are under acts of terrorism. These liberals hate death sentences and have been vocally against it while the majority in Pakistan have supported the death sentences and the death penalty.

As for Hussain he was tried and convicted and hanged. We have seen a rapist in India survive punishment and walk free due to being underage. Being underage is no excuse as you are well aware of the crime you have committed. Just as he was well aware that he was raping a nine year old.. So I say hang all who commit such crimes.. I don't want my tax dollars to go towards supporting these monsters...

So just bcz our judiciary and law enforcement is not perfect we should abandon all forms of punishment. After all jail time also ruins ones life and if the system is not good enough to give out death penalties then it's not good enough to give any sentence nor capture criminal... The liberals have a problem with death sentence.

Raheel Sharif deserves the rank of field marshal bcz he has combatted terrorism and has successfully neutralized most of FATA from vermin that are giving the worlds best military forces a run for their money. He has provided us safety and security in a very small time frame.. I dir not expect such amazing results and for that the saviour deserves the rank of field marshal.

You see these people always hate the Army no matter what. They just can't come out and say it bcz of the very high popularity Army currently enjoys but deep down they hate the institution. If tomorrow raheel Sharif creates an empire spanning from east to west and north to south you would still hear these liberals criticize him. These very liberals cursed the army and cheered for terrorists in lal masjid and are now berating the army to go after them again completely ignoring the role of govts...

Its not that he is not your saviour.. Its just that he can't be your saviour bcz you can't accept him as one. Your hatred blinds you and cant let you accept that the very institution that you hate has done a brilliant job.

All commissioned officers are to a extent complicit. This cancer is now being removed slowly. All corps commanders and Generals are tainted. They were suppose to defend the nation instead they let the militants live inside the country. You can't say some Generals did not know since they all must have known what was going on as senior commanders. They all need to be Court Martialed including Raheel Sharif. A fish rots from the head down !

Can someone share with me ONE growth policy that Pakistani military created in her 60 years of rule? One study, policy or laws to create more jobs, estimation of growing population, need for electricity, water, hospitals, education, ANYTHING that was actually done for the PEOPLE of Pakistan by the military??

I have a lot of respect for Gen. RS (on a personal relationship), I know the guy well and he has too much integrity to seek power and "fame". But I am questioning what's in people's heads who write utter crap and propaganda like above. In Pakistan's 70 years of history, the military is the most over glorified institution in the country!!

Only in Pakistan can the journalists go to such low-level that they lie and abuse their writing power to this degree. RS is a great general, but the guy can't spell Foreign Direct Investment, let alone negotiating to bring it in. The stock market and the Chinese investments had already been agreed upon between NS and the Chinese government. Way before the Zarb-Azb was ever conceived!!!! The stock market had already doubled before IK's sit-ins. May be Kiyani ( 6 billion ruppees corruption, just did a plea-bargain with NS's government to keep his name hidden) and Mushy ( over $ 500 million, majority sent to son in Boston) and other generals who did hundreds of millions worth of investments, decided to invest that black money into the stock market and that's how it went up

If these generals are SUCH statesmen, why was Pakistan going bankrupt 3 years ago? Why did NS and SS practically lived in China on and off for a few months to get the Chinese to agree? Why did the stock market come up in Pakistan when the new (then) Pakistani government announce reforms on investments? What brought the Russians in and why? Same with the Britts, and the Americans.... so ten generals over 40 years eff up the country, create militias internally, monsters of terrorism, and one general FINALLY realizes that he's got to clean this mess up. So you'd call him a God father for cleaning the mess up that his own 3-4 star generals started?? That's very smart!! In reality, he's JUST ding his job.

Taking credit away, and giving it to someone of your liking is typical Pakistani thing. No doubt about it. There are no some elements, Army and it intelligence agencies are professional organization, it's not like Hollywood movie, where there is a good cop and a bad cop. Afghan jihad and than Taliban strategy worked for Pakistan, it just ISI got short sighted and didn't realized that these extremist can be hijacked by foreign Intel agencies post 9/11. Unfortunately, unlike FBI, Pakistani internal security agencies like FIA and others are totally useless and failed to detect or form any policies to counter rise of terrorism. It wasn't the job of Army or ISI to began with. Extremism resides in Pakistani society, just like moral corruption. Infact there is lot of hatred, racism and religious intolerance in America too, but heavy handed rule of law have all these stuff under-control.
