The enemy and Pakistan Army

Joe are you arguing for the VSDOC Doctrine or against?

It sounds like you are building a case for a resounding FOR (with mundane deviations/modifications, as long as the essence remains intact), but with you I can always expect a last minute rassagulla ....

Outspend.

Outlobby.

Outwait.

Outgrow.

Outsize.

Outfriend.

Outwait.

Watch.

Wait.

Move.

The entire post, along with Joe's and Bang Galore's analysis, boils down to one word: money.

There is nothing else.

Its damn silly when a dude brands himself "tough guy"...on a internet forum

Of course it is. It's even sillier when the local PDF Indians label a Pakistani Patriot as a tough guy.

Ask Joe and Bangalore about it.

Money and Will.

Though military is derived from Money. But unlike Japan that has Money and military but no will to be aggressive.

Vsdoc is right to some extent. India will out run Pakistan as a nation. And that will have consequences for Pakistan.

Are you then admitting that India has the will to be aggressive against Pakistan?

Isn't that the premise of the thread?

And nothing much to talk about except rhetoric. These would be solved and there would be peace. OOs.

If India wanted to solve these disputes, it would not followed Nehru's forward policy and get punched in the face by the Chinese, and the Bangladeshis and Nepalese and the Bhutanese would not have complained again and again about India's intransigent attitude since last over 65 years.

Talk about such things amongst your own mutual praise group. Other do understand India's doublespeak since long.

China and India equation is completely different from India - Pakistan.

Pakistan is a different case and a different state hard to predict because it plays for external powers.

Nepal, Bhutan , Srilanka and BD border disputes are being resolved and some of them are resolved and you are trying to sell the "Indian hegemony theory" which no body right now is buying and once these disputes are solved then that theory itself will fade in Subcontinent.

The will to hold onto what it is currently in possession of.

We are a peace loving people.

We also have TIME on our side.

And you have the wrong geopolitical RELIGION.

Do not discount those as equally important to the equation.

India doesn't have that big a hammer to squash others.

I don't want to repeat here, how I normally responds to such statements. ha ha ha

India do not need a Hammer to go after its weaker neighbors and India has its diplomatic means to resolve these issues. :agree:

India has just recently become sustainable, and that too with your human resources. What you have achieved is not mind blowing by any standard. If you feel it is something to brag about then post to your heart's desire.

Where was India 30 years ago?

I believe India does not have the INTENT to be aggressive. But if pushed and not given a choice, am sure India has the WILL to go through with it. This however doesn't mean that India will throw the first punch, we just dont have the need to. The first blow has to come from Pakistan, either in the form of a direct attack or in the form of a devastating proxy attack to which India HAS to respond.

What you have achieved is not mind blowing by any standard

It isnt mind blowing. No one said so. But it is certainly something we are proud of. When zero achievements can make Pakistanis proud, what is wrong if Indians feel proud of atleast SOME achievements? :P

These are all stupid questions. Where was Pakistan 65 years ago ?

What matters is the present and the future.
