India or Bharat as a nation state has never existed as a contiguous, harmonious and peaceful entity but in the minds of hindutva fascists. The Hindu tribes were never a single unified entity. Hinduism itself as a belief system had branched and mutated under Aryan influence such that it was unrecognisable from the Hinduism that existed in the Indus Valley Civilisation. The whole concept of a unified Indian nation existed in the minds of hindutva fanatics. Notwithstanding the aforementioned divergent streams within the Hindu faith, throughout much of recorded history multiple different faith groups have ebbed and flowed in the subcontinent - Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism and Christendom being the most prominent. Indian lands were NEVER a contiguous Hindu state, therefore how can contemporary hindutva philosophy suggest we should accept a reality that suggests this falsehood?
Because of its false foundations, the nation state of India simply cannot sustain itself without some degree of oppression against a significant portion of its population, be they dalits, Muslims, congressians, sikhs or true secularists/liberals. If it cannot function without this prerequisite, then morally speaking, it should not be sustained, and it should be disbanded for the betterment of the tribes that dwell therein.
