Instead of using that money to further expand Iran's Aluminum Industry to produce various equipment from ships to various vehicles
Instead of using that money in Iran's steel, chrome, nickel, iridium,.... industry and building large vacuumed ovens & presses to expand on metallurgy to produce Tanks, APC, Jet engines, Artillery, ships, subs,.....
Instead you hand out $30 a month to the masses that create inflation and dependency and once you break something taking it way is NOT SO EASY and politically hazardous!

As for the Traitor on the negotiating team: Having one of your staff getting compromised with American bribes is the cost of negotiating with the U.S. you think Iran's VEVAK wasn't expecting that? To think the American's aren't going to try to bribe their way to get a better deal by compromising some of your staff is nothing out of the ordinary & Iran's VEVAK (Vezarat Etellaat va amniat keshvar) should have either done a better job watching over the team or they were aware of him and they were actively using him to send misinformation!
If he has been arrested now rather than to continue to be used to relay misinformation it's because VEVAK has become aware that the U.S. has figured out that he has been compromised and in which case Iran's VEVAK would have no further use for him & that's why they would arrest him!
At the end of the day it's the outcome of the JCPOA that matters
1.Iran has had $150 Billion USD of frozen assets freed
2.Iran is selling it's oil again
3.Iran politically has the upper hand in the international arena which means getting countries to comply in implementing harsh sanction far more difficult for the U.S.
4.Iran's foreign policy is making the American look irrational & delusional even to the Europeans

1st off the centrifuges Iran dismantled were outdated compared to where Iran is today
2ndly NUKE for Iran are only good as a deterrent & having the capability to build them is deterrent enough
North Korea unlike Iran decided to build and test Nukes as a result with a population of 25 Million people they have a GDP(nominal) of $20 Billion USD & a GDP(PPP) of $~40 Billion USD
Where as Iran with 3 times the population has a GDP(PPP) 40 times larger at $1.5 Trillion USD a GDP(nominal) 20 times larger at $450 Billion USD
So to sacrifice your economy just to test a Nuke or accept the JCPOA wait 10 years to restart your enrichment program during which you spend money on develop more advanced centrifuges that take up less space and require smaller facilities and easier maintenance! Have your assets unfrozen and get sanctions lifted....

Top that off Iran had the wording of UN resolutions regarding it's Ballistic Missile program changed from not testing Ballistic Missiles at all to "being called upon not to develop ballistic missiles designed to be capable of carrying nukes"
