What's new

The disconnected diaspora of Pakistan

.

Took me a while to figure out he was speaking good ol' Urdu, heh!

What's the deal with this mixed Urdu/English (Urdlish?) bullsh!t with a fake-arse Western accent overseas burgers seem to love?

Some bloke I know spent like 2-3 years in Canada and all of a sudden he was having difficulty speaking Urdu, a language he spoke for 20 odd years!

Talk about inferiorty complexion!

Nice summary of overseas idiots and their inferiority complex

Such behavior has destroyed the fabric of our great nation Pakistan

Let make Pakistan great again

Sir Sara qasoor hey overseas Pakistanis ka aur Imran Khan ka 3.5 sal hakomat ka hey warna abhi tak Pakistan bengaldesh, Vietnam, Korea key Tarah Asian tiger baan Chuka huta
Koi nai atleast IK inc got rich. All charisma not even half a brain.

I realized that it doesn't matter who comes to power in Pakistan- PTI, PPP, PMLn, they all have their strengths & weaknesses

Just bring "democratic" POLITICAL stability (no technocratic BS), council of economists to make sure GOP is not messing up our economy by taking short term populist decisions

and keep faujis in line
We'll be alright

Our diaspora is wrong to obsess over IK, our obsession should be with preserving the democratic structure of Pakistan

No comment on the video but the worldwide Pakistani expat community has given PDM and their general friends the biggest middle middle finger in Pakistani history.
They used to rely on it for many things, not now.
The sands of time are running out.

The bitter pill is hard to swallow for PDM & Co. Some have said giving them the dose in liquid form is best. Lol.

This whole process has pissed over 90% of the diaspora and disenfranchised Overseas Pakistanis with the motherland; I do not feel, per the discussions with others, this breach can be repaired entirely at most; a bandage will be applied. Give it another ten years, and you'll see a total disconnect.

I was in discussions with some business friends in Dubai, and they saw a massive inflow of money from Pakistan. But what they said next that surprised me is that many of those Pakistanis are using Dubai as a launch point to partner up with Indian Diaspora and then invest in India directly; some even in Singapore and Malaysia. But they also said this started right after the Vote of No Confidence triggered them to move out.

There is a rush to stop the bleeding, which falters on all fronts. As I said in another post, they played the game using the same old rules, with new players playing based on the new rules. They never understood who the new players were.

That is very difficult for pdm and khaki fanbois to understand.

Pakistan last hope nawaz sharif will be back soon
Yes there is hope the corruption cases will go away for our corrupt nawaz.

That is very difficult for pdm and khaki fanbois to understand.
Makes no difference. Most of those expats with families in those countries cut off ties with Pak anyways. Those with families will keep sending money.

That said for how long will Pak rely on a few billion dollars from remittances without doing anything to help itself.
A wake up call.
