What's new

The Debt we owe the Army & PAF

@Oscar

Constructing Oil and Gas Pipelines and Railway lines for the proposed economic corridor
through the Mighty Karakorams is technically very difficult and also prohibitively expensive

China is getting its energy supplies through Central Asia directly
And if more is needed the Russian energy pipelines can be extended till Xinjiang province

@MastanKhan Sir

The Economic ; Military and technological gap between India and Pakistan
is only getting bigger with every passing year

In 7 years from now we will be 3 Trillion Dollar economy

As you always say that Pakistan has to "Bring " India to the Peace table
by getting a few squadrons of " heavies "

The status quo suits India

As the new government in India has shown clearly ; peace will be only on our terms

Sir,

That is the problem that the new gen of Indians have that they cannot comprehend that why with this massive military and air force that they have----Pakistan is not bowing down to the pressure.

And it shows from your answer re the few sqdrn's of heavies----. Your problem has been that you have not been able to move forward with anything----all your major projects of engine building---tank or aircraft have failed---your procurement has failed regarding anything---that has give us the time to narrow the gap from 1999 till now.

The reason for the heavies is---that if you chose to start the aggression---like in the cross border bombings last months---we may also take counter measure at our discretion.

And you are right---peace will be when india wants---but being a smart man that you are---you should know it by now----it " won't be on your terms"---regardless of what your poiticians tell you.

I hope that you are really not that gullible---to really really believe in that---.

Last but not the least----it is a new indian thing----you start to believe in how things are going to work your way and your way only----what you say is the truth and what you see is the truth---.

Bottomline---we don't need to match you in numbers---and there is no technology our there that it is only you that can get it and will give you a overwhelming edge---your problem is that you can't even get the current technology---regardless---so what is the big deal---nothing.

With the current status quo---we will come out ahead of where we stand today---our tactical weapons procurement hasn't stopped---regardless of what anyone tells you.

India has to just wait and keep increasing its economic and military strength

We are NOT at all forcing anything on Pakistan

But yes we have ONLY set new terms for peace Talks to begin

And the fact is that the earlier government DID accumulate military strength
but did NOT allow it to be used

And the previous government also kept engaging with Pakistan
This kind of sent a message of " weakness " and indecisiveness to the Pak Army

The new government has asserted the fact that
1 the Military strength will be used hence forth in a disproportionate manner
2 there is no point in talks unless terrorism against India stops

What has happened recently on the LOC is that PA was testing the new government
So a clear message had to be sent

Your problem has been that you have not been able to move forward with anything----all your major projects of engine building---

What do it have to do with defence ? Much of the countries fielding indigenous tanks & fighters use foreign engines

tank or aircraft have failed---your procurement has failed regarding anything---that has give us the time to narrow the gap from 1999 till now.

Agai, even if Tejas is delayed we have the MKIs,Mirages & Mig 29.Even if only 240 Arjun Mk 1 is made,we have T 90.Regarding procurement,There is a lot of it done in that time frame.

Bottomline---we don't need to match you in numbers---and there is no technology our there that it is only you that can get it and will give you a overwhelming edge---

I thought the BMD & the SSBN were examples for these.

your problem is that you can't even get the current technology---regardless---so what is the big deal---nothing.

Care to explain ?

Like I stated before. The Chinese bit I was sceptical about, but the India figures may hold more weight to them.

What an ignorant post.....Pakistan can get SSBN the day it wants it. The role of SSBNs is to provide a determined second strike capability. If shit came to shove at that level, India would already be in a massive rubble.
Secondly, SLCM on a AIP SSK can be equally effective vis-a-vis Indo-Pak war in the Arabian sea........don't need the 6000Nmile range for that......

We wanted nukes, no matter how hard India or rest of the world tried, we got them
We wanted a BVR plane up in the air, we got it.....faster than India could procure its own equally priced or capable variant
We wanted MBTs, we got them
We wanted Cruise Missiles...we got them
We wanted ARMs and Stand off weapons.....we got them from the southern hemisphere
Take a look at the Zhuhai Air show.....Pakistan can pick and choose what it wants from the bazaar......take it to next level for its own needs.

If you cannot talk factually, kindly shut up and stop dragging your sorry India in every post that does not concern you.

If you have to pray you should pray for national institutions not for brainy leaders.

National institutions like a strong SC, Election Commission, Right to information, Vigilance Commission , Womens rights bodies and so on.

Such institutions if autonomous act as watch dogs to keep the high & mighty in check & this includes the Army.

The rest will follow
I beg to differ, a strong, honest and wise leader will set the rouse in order by example, there are lots of examples in Islam, Umar E Khitab's rule is one example, read and be enlighten.

Well---then it seems like that you have made the decision that you want to be obliterated one day---just like us. I never thought that you Indians be that thoughtless----but then you are who are you are.

Because of our size and strength----our back is against the wall all the time---why would you want to put yourself in that predicament of point of no return.

If we started the last four wars---regardless of the results---what makes you thinks that we won't do it this time the next time.

So has "thoughtless" Pakistan "made a decision to be obliterated one day"? "Our back is against the wall all the time." "If we started the last four wars---regardless of the results---what makes you thinks that we won't do it this time the next time?"

Sir, if any of those statements are true, let alone all of them, then would it be any wonder if a nuclear armed Pakistan is regarded as an unstable country that is a threat to world peace by the entire international community, let alone India?

What difference does it make if it is an unstable or a stable country----the consequences are terrible to both----.

Hence all the more reason to avoid those dire consequences rather than being belligerent about them!

@MastanKhan Sir

We know Pakistan very well ; whatever good or bad qualities Pakistanis may have
They are DEFINITELY NOT Suicidal

However Pakistan does initiate conflicts periodically

Pakistan only thinks about Conflict Initiation
But Pakistan does not give a proper thought to Conflict Termination

As it happened just recently on the LOC ; the latest exchange of hostilities
went in India's favour

That is why we see a diplomatic overdrive by Pakistan against India
ie complaints to UN / US / OIC / China etc

But the world community recognises that Pakistan always starts the conflict

So if something happens in future ; India would ONLY be responding to
Provocation

We are ready for escalation ; Blackmail will not work
