Look Zia was a potent tool for the anti BD elements. Maybe you have mistaken him by my words of something great. But he was just puppet show. The plan was to install him from start, so that people cant ask questions seeing his past patriotic image and all anti BD things happen behind the curtain. Patriotic people were at gun point if they didnt cooperate they were just killed point blank like famous jail killing, SM assassination or Mosharraf. If BD patriot Musharraf could take power, BD would be different today but killed by the fanatic Zia's soldiers. There was a tug of war between army generals on western instigation. During 1971 war, English journalist made special interview on Zia and Khaled getting a clue that BD is going to be independent and predicted some of the MB elements will be future leader and see after some years killed elected representatives and started fight among themselves for power. Mosharraf was a proponent of Mujibism so Taher supported Zia as Taher's leader Sarbahara Siraj was eliminated by Mujb force but irony is Taher was later killed by Zia to seal his power.
You do not like Rentu because he has revealed many of the secrets of Shaikha Hasina. But he wrote the truths about who killed and who conspired with whom to kill President Zia, who was not certainly a part of conspiracy to kill Bangabandhu. It was the junior officers who killed him with built up cooperation from many BAL leaders of that time, led by Kh. Mustaque Ahmed, a BAL/BAKSAL leader.
The killer army officers did not ask Zia to come and take power in August because he was not a part of the inner circle that killed Bangabandhu. Instead, BAL party's Mustaque took over the power. Many of the BAL leaders, including Kh. Obaidur Rahman, joined his Cabinet. So, why do you blame Zia for the killing?
Zia did not seize power on August 15, 1975? He was brought to power only on 9th Nov. 1975. Zia had no hands in the Jail killings of our four national leaders. It was done by the Cols. and Majors under BAL leader Mustaque who ordered to kill them.
You are praising Brigadier Khaled Musharref only because his mother participated in a procession sometime between 3rd and 9th Nov. 1975, and you are invoking your own personal prophecy about what Khaled Musharref would have done this and that, have killed the Jamaatis and many other such things. But, since he failed to take over the power, therefore, we just do not know what really he would have done. Therefore, your propositions are only hypothetic.
I am here to talk about the conspiracy to kill Zia. But, somehow it is becoming difficult, because people are disorienting this thread to some other destination.
