Usually when something important is official implement. The Chinese wouldnt announce it. They will do it hush hush.

Look at the production of SMIC 7nm chip.

Making EUV is one vital thing, the next challenge will be to make a photoresist that will polymerize/depolymerize at that wavelength, with patternable feature size.
