Nope Pakistan has 3 AWAC. The original leaker of the news stands corrected. He told us right after the attack about the destruction of 1 and 2 severly damaged. Officials disclosed after 6 months of attack publically that 1 destroyed completely in the attack. Op is confusing himself and many others.

Additional Defense secretary has no reason to lie when he said 1 destroyed completely in the parliament couple years back. One of the severely damaged was those whose nosecone was damaged during the attack.

Pakistan had 4 Saab 200 AWACS, 2 were damaged and 1 was destroyed. the 2 that were damaged are repaired and the one thats destroyed is not coming back.

Initially after SAAB had refused the repair, it was considered as a ''write off'', the other had minimum damage.
