The betrayal of my beautiful religion, Islam

ahhh famous words of @Syed.Ali.Haider
Never look for truth just accept free shit being fed!

When did I ever say that? Never, and you know it.

What I do say is that the burden of proving what you claim to be the truth lies upon you and you alone by deeds, not just words.

My questions were why doesnt media question those who have knowledge and why those who ARE questioned dont take opportunity to clarify anything?

The media gives open coverage of all points of view. It is up to you to participate and voice your views.

.
then you shouldn't be bothered about the concept , as I said concept is but the reaction of explanation ( the method or way a massage is conveyed by people either by words or actions ) counts , & if you are not interested in that, or dismiss it, then you will never be able to understand the concept to build a counter narrative in the first place , it literally kills your whole argument
you can never treat ,if you refuse to diagnose
A concept is a concept...A concept is an abstraction or generalization from experience or the result of a transformation of existing concepts.

It doesnt always require actions and if it does than why isnt anyone looking at the actions of the best example the prophet? or that of what is in the book or words from the expert known as scholar?

Why go to any common man and nod with him/ her?

When did I ever say that? Never, and you know it.
What I do say is that the burden of proving what you claim to be the truth lies upon you and you alone by deeds, not just words.
i didnt mean this thread but the political situation of Pakistan...that line reminded me of what we had discussed earlier :ashamed:

Yes and no...it gives more importance to what gets sold...and it def goes to such people where it can extract such information...money makes the world go round :D

The media covers all that is happening through its various outlets. Most of the mayhem right now is in Muslim majority countries, and that is what is being covered.

Like I said previously isnt it the Media's job to dig and do its research + analysis and find the EXPERTS in the field to HAVE THEIR VOICE?

The media's job is to provide coverage to ALL points of view and let the viewers make up their own minds. It is not for them to pre-select experts based on what you want to hear. Just because you may not agree with some points of view being aired does not mean that they are not doing a good job. It actually means they are.

but isnt that what is happening if you keep showing their selection over and over.....

Some points of view....so far MOST POV or "selected" people have not been able to utter a single word FOR Islam....Back to my series of questions on post 1

It is because the silent majority chooses to remain silent, not because they have no options for media coverage.

nope, that is for the Muslims to prove by their deeds

so if the deeds are good, the media coverage will be good also , if the deeds are bad then the coverage will be bad too
the job of the media is only to give, the information (news) that's about it

as I said its basic social science 101

I can understand the bit about non-state actors but you are against state executions?

Yes State execution is even more danger if it is done without sufficient reason and depriving culprit of proper opportunity to represent himself. Look at Kasab. He was given all the opportunity to represent himself including lawyer. In some uncivilized country people are hanged. Behaded or shot in head without proper trial and for not very serious crime. Some uncivilized nation has quota of execution. If they do not have sufficient people to execute, they will execute the criminal with less serious (Non executable) crime and that too in Public.

How many times has the media approached experts in the field to get their opinion? Coz for political analysis they take experts, same case for scientific studies like related to water or soil or food shortage....but when it comes to Islam any random person is good enough?

Not the one mentioned in your holy book itself but have read enought what happened to whom you call pagan Arabs or Buddhists in Afghanistan or Persians. People know how the holy mecca was captured and converted to what it is today. I guess all that was damn peaceful..
I believe those "people" doesnt include you :agree:

why not India? Why would anyone have different set of rules for different places?
Because I have seen heard enough crap about Indians and Islam many are still sore from the Mughal rule and cant seem to snap out of it to actually see Islam...all they see is whats happening in their own surroundings...call it narrow mindedness or whatever...but it is really sad not a single soul wishes to broaden their scope!

Unlike many follower of your religion, I am not a kid or fanatic to believe whatever people tell me. I have seen enough and read enough to form the opinion i hold today.
Aparently you have not seen nor read enough except the limited stuff that happens in your background and the limited stuff that media lets you see...How much have you tried to explore on your own?

There is nothing ignorant in what I said, there were beheadings happening back then for one reason or other and the same followers are doing to this day. You may want people to go blind over that but that's not how world works. A fact remains a fact, no matter how much you hate it..
And here the ignorance starts again...I believe you didnt even read post 1 coz what you are talking about has nothing to do with post 1 and my series of questions regarding it...You just read the article beheading and your mind started to conclude based on your limited knowledge

Yeah all are kids fed with lies and only you know the truth. Closing eyes to your fallies and blaming others thats the easiest way to find peace, i guess!!

Nice personal attack ..reported

Post 1 already covers it!

Let me break down...

When atrocities were happening in Africa where was the media?
It is ONLY there for BOKO HARAM as though he is the 1st maniac in Africa...

Where was the media when Buddhist monks went around butchering people? It was only there when the Southern Thai people got angry with oppression and fought their govt but their neighbour's butchering was ignored?

Selective media is never good and should under no means be supported or cheered for nor helped to cover up!

The media invite all types of experts with all shades of opinion for covering stories, including those on Islam. The fact that you do not agree with all the opinions expressed means that they are doing a good job of giving access to a wide diversity of opinions.

By you ranting the same rant will not make it the truth nor justify these "selective" journalism!

As for the bold part...the fact that I am not agreeing with these options tells me they are taken from just 1 type of people (those who know Islam or actually shine good light to it vs those who claim to be Muslims but refuse to shine 1 good sentence about it or even remove 1 misunderstanding about it...the VERY fact that the latter is NEARLY the ONLY one reported shows your "good job" in selecting diversity!

But that is the point: Just because you think that the media are being selective does not mean that they are being so, because they clearly show a diversity of opinions, including about Islam, just as they should.
