the system does not work and 60 years in as being a independent country we still have not realized? do we have idiots sitting in Delhi or something? sometimes i question the electoral policies of our country

i really do not understand why we have not gone in for reforms only when the country was on verge of economic collapse we decided we needed reforms i mean really hundreds of millions of our citizens live in poverty without the even most BASIC needs we need a system that works for everybody and does not discriminate based on religion, caste, ethnicity, or caste

^^^^^ exactly we need REFORMS the system we adopted does not work we need to adopt a new system that will work

and since most of our population lives in rural areas there should be a rural development plan e.g giving villages a hospital or medical center, water, electricity from solar grid, the works

the 2 development ministries need to be expanded as well the poorest regions must be developed as quickly as possible and building of infrastructure is also needed

caste, religion, sex, should not matter the PRC and US separation of state and religion should be implemented into our system keep religion, ethnicity, away from the state


we need a new secular party one that actually is not corrupt and will develop India

Dude what you said is correct and we need that but these facilities specially the last line will never be possible if the rural people do not understand what is going on in the country. Or more so the secular party will not stand in front of current pro religious and pseudo secular parties.


I liked the Jan Lokpal bill specially people's response but those behind it were not good enough to be called as civil society or to put faith for running India or govts. Bhushans, Kiran bedi, Kejriwal etc I am talking about.

Yes, thats my point. I always thought the education should be proper. Before all facilities they need to be educated first. Not like those in the schools or colleges. But the sorry state is forget those poor rural Indians, even the students of schools and colleges are brainwashed by the political parties through their student wings. We need to stop all sort of political links in the educational institutions.


Changing the system needs awareness, proper education with some basic facilities. Specially in rural areas. Then we can think about a fully developed India. If the people are educated properly, they will throw those political parties's BS to the dustbin. Than we do not need to worry.

The BJP should capitalize at this time. Anna and his movement have successfully shaken up the government and the entire congress hierarchy . They should try to emulate what Mamata Banerjee did with the CPM in West Bengal , keep the resentment against the scams and failings festering long enough till the LS elections . To bring themselves to power they need to adopt the same tactics of "working for the aam aadmi" which Sonia Gandhi used against them so long before.
Hopefully someone like Nitish or Modi can be projected as the next PM by consensus amongst all the senior BJP leaders . Congress being very clear on Rahul Gandhi projected as the PM-To-Be , BJP needs such a distinct face of its own , a leader of national stature who has a strong public image and who can deliver.

the caste system was abolished in India but not in rural India especially in the eastern states mainly in the red corridor we should create a law saying anyone who practices the caste system and discriminates based on it shall be put to death that will teach those Ranvir Sena SOB's a lesson

Dude by 'proper education' I did not mean correct education. I think our teachers in english or subjects are good enough to teach them but I question how they tech and under what system they teach.


The main question is do they teach Indians to know how India can be developed, why we should not vote corrupted and incompetent parties or politicians, why human being is above religion and caste? How the political parties manipulating our feelings about religion and caste? This is proper education I am talking about.


You made a good point about online education and access to internet. It it the future of proper education and fast info sharing with the rural people. I can say about myself, I learned many things beyond text book only through the internet.

village education is useless the poor cannot afford to be educated properly only the rich living in much more developed areas get proper education India is a country that is rich with a lot of poor people the poor suffer greatly because of lack of basic human development and basic infrastructure don't even get me started on the toilets issue.....

The scheduled caste community will fight such a move especially now that they are getting reservations in many fields.

But its true that abolishing any mention of caste will in the long term benefit India tremendously ,from a social perspective.

I personally think this 'Law Abiding Citizen' brainwashing starts at very young age in India. NCERT books are filled with propaganda, we need new history syllabus for generation X. We need to inject patriotism into schools, Every Indian should be proud of being Indian like Japaneese. Time to appreciate Legends like Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev, not outdated crap.
