Thank You USA

I think administration must take action to make forum more healthy, condusive and friendly.

I hope durran3,seeker,tamimi,imran2006g and other patriot suporters will also learn lesson.

Read my post; i do not condone Patriots post. A human's life should not be disrespected. My post about the dead Briton in camp bastion wasn't in bad taste; he was just obeying orders just as PA jawans obey orders from the top echelon. I was just trying to make a point about how NATO/US cant do anything about the taliban planting IED's 500m from their bases; yet they speak about the taliban 60 km from Islamabad and abdication of our country to them.

.
On the other forum where this guy from america who is making the complains regualrly posts , they discuss all topics related to Pakistan under a 'terrorist' heading also indian posters are heavily favoured and demeaning comments against Pakistan are never removed.

^^ Did you saw the ungratitude of American members towards Pakistan, our support, our sacrifices and our friendship...... they simply refuse to thank... instead they refuse to own Al-Qaeeda....altogether! OBL used to be a respectable CIA officer, but now his PR can hurt US so he is linked with Pakistan!

look at us.... we are being hard hit by foreign sponsored TTP and which is thriving in the midst of every thing.
no one is willing to condem about the safe heavens provided ot TTP and BLA in Afghanistan.
Where as it is getting clear that US campaign on Afghanistan is nothing more than occupation which is justified by fabricated infrequent instances of attacks on NATO convoys... and soldiers. etc.

.
if you try and make them surrender by incurring costs it actually perpetuates the cycle of violence, the only way you can succeed in your aims is to go on a genocidal rampage so there is no enemy left since these guys are very good at asymmetric warfare, the middle ground causes destabilisation and even more problems

You must have missed what has been going on in Swat.

Yes, we read how the Talib is 10 feet tall and "experts" at asymterical warfare, well the FAUJ takes that serioujsly and has demonstrated to those who are reasonable that the FAUJ knows how to deal with asymetrical warfare - really, these kinds of silly notions about how the Talib is 10feet tall are all proved empty, the Talib may continue the use of terror as a tactic against the Pakistani nation, but they cannot succeed.
You don't have to buy into the idea that the Talib can be defeated, just keep your powder dry and watch.

Talib may continue the use of terror as a tactic against the Pakistani nation,

Whole Pakistan knows that TTP is US product and this is why they are destined to loose their war and very fast. US dollars alone is not going to win them any safe heavens inside Pakistan.

US has grown unpopular in Pakistan by getting the legitimacy to hit Pakistan civilians from an unpopular govt.

Jirga threatens to support AfghanTaliban if drone attacks continue
By Malik Mumtaz Khan

MIRAMSHAH: A tribal Jirga of North Waziristan on Sunday threatened to support the Afghanistan-based anti-US groups, including the Taliban, if the US drone attacks were not stopped.

Addressing a grand Jirga here, the tribal elders, including Malik Jalal Manzarkhel, Malik Inayat Khan Dawar, Malik Muhammad Nawaz Muhammadkhel and Malik Faridullah, unanimously decided the Jirga would support the Afghanistan-based Taliban if the US did not stop killing “innocent people” in North Waziristan through drone attacks.

The elders said they would send volunteers and suicide bombers to Afghanistan to intensify the attacks on the US troops if the Americans did not change their policy of using drones to target the tribal people.

Lashing out at the Pakistani authorities, they alleged the drones were flying all the time in North Waziristan at the behest and with the cooperation of the government. They alleged the drone attacks, meant to dismantle the network of Al-Qaeda and Taliban, were killing innocent people and provoking them to support the militants.

They said the tribal people were peaceful and patriotic Pakistanis and it was the US who was involved in fanning terrorism in the agency. Regarding the media’s role, they alleged that a handful of journalists had been bribed by the Jewish lobby for writing against the so-called terrorism in the agency.

Mediation offer between state, terrorists condemned

By Tahir Niaz

ISLAMABAD: The Sunni Ittehad Council on Monday condemned those offering mediation between the state and Taliban, saying it was too late for such efforts.

“It is too late now as they should have offered mediation when the terrorists were slaughtering innocent people in the troubled areas of the country,” the council said in a joint declaration at the end of its conference.

The council, an alliance of 13 Sunni religious parties, supported an operation in South Waziristan against the Taliban, saying that was the only way to get rid of the menace. It also opposed any dialogue with the Taliban. The declaration said the council had reservations over the Kerry-Lugar bill and asked the government to consider national interest a priority while making important decisions. It added that the government should take measures to control the price-hike to provide relief to the masses

I think people are confusing a tactic (drone strikes) that is arguably more successful and effective than any other option available, with the entity controlling the tactic.

If I am not wrong, many would not object were the Pakistani Military controlling these drone strikes instead of the US Military.

On the drone strikes themselves, I have yet to hear someone suggest an alternate means that would offer a comparable chance of success and minimize collateral damage given the dynamics of the areas where these HVT's hide.

Let me tell an incident that was recently revealed to me by an aquaintance.

The incident is like this that this person who I know had gone to a social gathering in an uptown area in Islamabd where foreign journalists were also invited , many of them american journalists.

The interesting thing was that many of the american journlists were infact jews.

Now in most gatherings ladies sit separate and men sit separate one of these 'journalist' was eager to go talk to the ladies , and he went to the ladies section.

There he started off with first letting the ladies know that he was an american of jewish decent.

Then he threw a 'tester' in form of a statement that 'Oh you know my favourite city in the world is Jerusalam'

Pehaps he was expecting some remarks from the ladies but the people there did not engage him much on this.

Then he came onto another topic and here is is the more interesting ( and worrying bit )

He said I've notived a lot of anamosity between the Panjabis and Pashtoons.

Now this rang a bell and one of the lady said that Im Pashtoon and my daughter is married to Panjabi and what you say is not true.

Another lady said that Im Panjabi and I've been married to my husband for over 30 years , hes Pashtoon and what you just said is not ture.

Sensing that he had been given the middle finger by the ladies over the issue he went off with saying that yeah inter-mariges will reduce these anmosities

Now we should remeber one thing that most american jews are also citizens of Israel , and they are very rabidly zionist.

Inflitrating Pakistan as Journalists to create intra-ethinic fissures is part of the zionist game.

beware borthers and sisters! beware of the enemy that pretends to be a friend!

.
i think it is these foreign journalists who are advising our present rulers to divide Pakistan further on ethnic lines.
Pakhtoonkhawa, gilgitistan, southpunjab etc..
BTW... i have also noticed that on this forum indians have attempted on various occasions to provoke Pakistan members to write against Israel but they did not had much success.
We have to be careful while speaking against any country untill we have any sort of proof or logic to link it with any conspiracy.
This is my advise to those who are leading the campaign against Saudi Arabia , on this forum.

very true , there is a definite move by the enemies of Pakistan to make people identify themselves more with their ethnicites in an attempt to create inter-provincial and sectarian issues.

The Gilgit issue has an Agha Khani angle to it also , details on that are bit sketchy but the link is definitly there.

That's a good point. I think all sides agree that the bad guys need to be taken out, so I am not sure why some people keep bringing up that canard.

Let's focus the discussion on strategies to minimize collateral damage.

Many people have mentioned the need for complementary measures like choking logistical channels (money + equipment), educating villagers to resist infiltration, evacuating affected areas first, promoting intra-Taliban rivalries, etc.

Not all of these measures may be feasible in all cases, but we need to do more than just bomb them which, as people have pointed out, often makes them martyrs and creates more enemies for us.

^^Develpero, we Pakistani's have the right to see every terrorist died in drone attacks incl. the civilinas, but no news reporter is ever present on the spot or bothered to took pictures.
This time we had the file photos of this central asian guy but who knows in reallity what is cooking?
We believe that normally drones are used to hit civilians to creat a dissent in local tribes against Pakistan.
We don't even believe that intelligence is shared with Pak army before or after the attack.
It is our right to see the footage of drone operation and reconfirmed the deads on ground by media or ISPR.
We all know that recording of each and every single drone attack is available in soem record! why those are not released to media.
After all it is not a war between two states that they have to hide some thing.
Every common person in Pakistan has its share in fighting WOT. Pakistanis trust Pak fauj not US marines an dopinion of Pakistani people matters.

I agree.
Pakistan should make it clear that we will shoot down any unauthorized drone in our airspace. Since these are unmanned, there is no loss of American lives and the US repercussions would be more manageable. This again comes down to whether the Pakistani government is serious about asserting its authority over all parts of Pakistan.

All the drones operating in Pakistan should be under Pakistani control or joint Pakistani/US control. Of course the Americans will come up with their usual excuses about not trusting ISI, etc. but they need to understand that they will not be allowed to operate without Pakistani consent.

Unfortunately, part of the problem is that the Pakistani army knows there will be civilian casualties and this way it is easier to blame them on Americans.

You guys need to understand a couple of thing about Drone attacks and the deep role Pakistan plays in these attacks:

1. The area has to be mapped and every house assigned a address, every compound surveilled - and every individual compared against knowns

2. To actually fire at the target, an asset on the ground has to place for the lack of a better word, a transmitting device

You understand?? You understand that we have penetrated this organization at multiple levels?? Or do you imagine it's James Bond and some drone just fires a missile after fixing a target in crosshairs??
Get a clue, guys, at least discuss it as if you are thinking.

Plausible Deniablity? Understand what this is?? Our intelligence services have been involved with identifying/picking targets from the start, but we deny this because of some people (for examples of which, see above) who cannot get their head around the idea (No Muslims could do that) - Now that the fig leaf has been removed and some illumination penetrated in the grey matter, please stop foolng yourselves - Is hamam main sab nangay hain. Savvy?

How do they place transmitting devices inside targets which are moving cars?
