Doesn't matter much as long as it has good sustained speed and super-cruise (which it should according to the poster). High supersonic maneuverability (if design caters for it) like eurofighter would also be a plus.

Nice, I hope the prototype will be ready soon. It is better to invest in TFX rather than spending on F 35 acquisition.

Not the same tech, The NGF is meant to be a bridge btw a 5th gen and 6th gen aircraft with the possibility of a full 6th gen ... with a hope to fly around 2040ish... (for prototype)
While MMU is btw 4th and 5th gen, with an optic toward 5th gen
