Tesla had planned to start work on expanding the plant as part of a strategy to more than double its production capacity in China to meet growing demand for its cars in the country and export markets, Reuters reported in February.

Based on our Minister, Luhut Pangaribuan, there will be another meeting with Tesla this Week. Both are under negotiation.

Our electricity is in surplus and with lower coal price for our state owned electricity companies, PT PLN. Coal price for PLN is just 70 USD per ton, steel industry also get lower coal price around 90 USD per ton. Both lower than international price.
