since the last aircraft with H was the HJT 36 sitara and we name them in sequence of 4 so the next aircraft should be something like HF-40 TEJAS

I think the name HF-Nano has certain benefits.
1. Nano sounds very harmless so in line with the ahinsawaadi posturing of our government.
2.Can utilise the the brand image created by tata nano and even better ipod nano!
3.Can earn revenues from tata for covert product endorsement.

A thought--" If we call the tejas HF-nano then should we call the fgfa 'HF-sumo'?"

The KH-2012 was Tejas LSP2 so you can imagine we have come to 2012 from 2001 and dont forget LSP4,5,6,7 and so on are gonna fly

i think it is hf-74 it is my personal opinion

What the Heck is this "HINDU"STAN doing in its name of Indian Tejas? How many times will you guys prove yourself to be a Hindu State? Common name it Hyder, or Mustafa, or Name it after somebody Sikh. There is not a single armament that you could name after somebody non-Hindu or outside Hindutva preachings. Arjun, Agni, Prithvi, Hindustan Tejas.. lol... Were Mughals not Indian? we shud feel proud on their work not on their name.although same applies to u.shaheen,ghazini,al khalid.
