By lengthening the project the Indians could learn more.....According to the tweet i quoted , it will take another 8 years for the 83 Tejas to be inducted in IAF.
The first Prototype flew in 2001, by 2028, it will be a 27 year old project.
i am just praising the flying lingham!Paa Jee @Mangus Ortus Novem has directed us to show due respect to ancient Indian Lingam Technologies.
In your industry people do amazing work and can't tell anyone about it and that is the irony. You can't brag about your life's work.I worked in this industry for your info.
But Rafael is Israeli company?i never asked for any recognition either. you will not believe it how that idea came. Even the night when this ephinany happened i still remember. The reason i smile always - my counterparts are my actual real friends in Rafael.
work is work, friendship is friendship.
on wrong thread. But Rafael is Israeli company?
Raptor is South African weapon?
I have seen it more times on the ground then I have seen it flying. Its seems Indian pilots feel safer piloting it on the ground than in the air. Should be called Groundas instead of Tejas. You can claim whatever you want but the reality is it would still be on a truck.

Do these cost figures really mean anything. You can reduce cost extensively by manufacturing more. If they make 200 Tejas, it would be something like 30-35 million a piece. If they make 40 of them, it will be 65-70 million a piece. Single B2 bomber costs around 2 billion dollars, since only 8 were made. F35 costs 100 million, since around 2000 will be manufactured. You can only know the true cost per aircraft once the entire program is over and no more of the jet will be manufactured, or if you have a clear idea about how many you are going to procure.
