No dear, from what i have heard PAF is pre-occupied so it will not be participating, although Bahraini authorities are still requesting since most of the participants are there for mostly static display so they are desperate to get some participants to put on a flying display to give it some air show feeling.

Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd has delivered only a single Tejas to the Indian Air Force.

LCA/Tejas is probably 90% foreign content in value

The foreign content of the LCA/Tejas depends on how you measure it.

If you measure by value:

1. American GE F414 engine
2. Israeli Elta EL/M-2032 multi-mode radar
3. Israeli Elbit-furnished DASH helmet-mounted display and sight (HMDS)
4. French Sextant multi-function displays (MFDs)
5. British Martin-Baker zero-zero ejection seat
6. Israeli Rafael laser pod
7. Russian GSh-23 cannon
8. Russian/Israeli missiles
9. etc.

ok you have proved your point. Now let us be happy with 10% Indian which is always better than 100% chineese. Mere changing its name & green & white paintjob doesnt make it Pakistani.
Last time I checked Chineese were doing all the developmental work on even block two variant of Jf17. Can you kindly post all the components that are Pakistani in You fighter jet.

MFDs are made by samtel an indian compay

Its a stop gap measure, its will have ASTRA mk1 and mk2

I think sudarshan lgbs will also find places in tejas,but its very sad that we are not developing shortrange IR/IRimaging type air to air missiles by our own.

JF17 is completely functional as compared to TEJAS which is not & TEJAS are not home grown they are only getting assembled in India & parts are from overseas.

Yeah, some of the JF17 were getting made in Pakistan & some were made in China as part of the agreement between the two country, but now PAC is fully capable of making them in Pakistan.
