When Pakistan announced their completion of the 50th JF-17 yesterday, I bet iaf is scared. They can do nothing but to push the incomplete tejas forward desperately to save face!

First of all stop this senseless posting . If you want to contribute something that is useful for the top do it. we dont need your advise. We know what we are doing.

As for as your comment on JF17 and IAF getting scared. let me tell you our MKIs can carry wepons with weight equal to JF17 weight. in terms of power : hypothetical tug of war - using a rope. JF17 would be miserably dragged and ripped off by MKI.

So stop bringing JF17 when we are talking about LCA. We are learning to designing now so it will take time.

Well, given that it has taken Pakistan and China together 40 months to make 30 JF 17s, I think we are pretty good on that front

(Feb 2010 the 1st JF 17 squad was inducted and PAF had 20 odd JF 17s at that time)

if tejas is better than mig 21, it is a super antique.
it can be auctioned for more money than mig 21 for sure at some auction houses
it shows this much quality of the iaf pilot, indeed!

That we have enough and more to counter the JF 17 buildup in Pakistan. BTW, from a Clearance perspective, after today, JF 17 and LCA are at the same level. Both have yet to get FOC

Congrats to fellow Indians.

India has rolled out its first indigenous Light Combat Aircraft Tejas in Bangalore on Friday. Defence Minister AK Antony, MoS Defence Jitendra Singh and Air Force chief NAK Browne attended the event.

The launch comes after the ambitious project started nearly 20 years ago. The first batch of the supersonic fighter aircrafts will be produced by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited(HAL) and will be inducted into the Indian Air Force's fleet by 2014.
