I think that is ignorant. JF 17 is a very potent fighter for its price and fits perfectly into PAF's intended role. It is the most foolish idea to underestimate JF 17. As far as oakistani contribution to the JF17 project, read the JF 17 information pool. PAF got this aircraft designed according to thier needs from chengdu. hence PAF's contribution is immense...

Russian engine? RD33 is one of the best engines with exceptional track record...

Chinese avionics?? If avionics are fake ..then what about ours? we have lesse experience in avionics when compared to china...

and dont bring in PLAAF in this, JF 17 is something they thought would not suit their needs with J10 already developed as an agile dog fighter with longer range than JF 17.

Pakistan and china jointly made a aircraft called Joint failure(junk) 17 tim blunder. Pakistan contribution is 99.999999999% and rest by china. This aircraft is made by accidently when pakistan tried to copy J-7( like china) but unfortunatly they exactly can't copy like china( nakal ka liya bhi akal chahiya ) and now they want to sell it and try their best to spread rumour that many country thinking( still thinking and thinking and thinking finally again thinking) to buy it. Conclusion. No one will buy that crap and it is perfect match for poor PAF

Just compare LCA engine and Radar with JF17. All JF17 fan will run like a rat, but still JF17 is more successful than LCA

DSI and LERX addition to JF-17 was Designed by Pakistani Team stationed in CAC. Then the current EW suit is designed on the basis of inputs given by Pakistani Team. It's just tip of ice berg kiddo

compare jf-17 with lca even on stats. and there is separate reason why IAF is delaying it.
IAF wants complete platform.if induction is the only criteria then we can induct it now.

Yeah IAF delaying it coz Stats of LCA is not up to the mark which only means, Kids who usually boasts about LCA stats is actually not what it is.

The aircraft engine is the diamond of the modern aviation industry, it is not that easy to grasp.

Otherwise, there wouldn't be only a handful number of nations which can manufacture it.

It even took us 20-30 years to accomplish it.

Are you sure you have achieved it. Just a couple of months back a large order for Russian Engines was placed by China indicating that something was not right.
