I don't get this hypocrisy by these Pakistanis. they say a Radar made by DRDO with Israeli assistance as Israeli radar, aircraft design with french inputs as french design, fly by wire with limited help with USA (which was again taken back) as USA fly by wire technology. But when they will be the first to say their assembled fighter as their own with 50% input !! That too when they cannot design and produce a simple passenger car in-house. And then ask us to believe them !!

Radar range he clearly stated 100 km for 2m^2 target compared to Jf 17 thunder 130 km for 5 m^2 target.


Even LCA clock 200 hrs annually then it would cross 6000 hrs.

Only thing disappointing is FOC one mre time extended till March 2016

It doesn't matter as the FOC date has no impact on delivery schedule to IAF as they'll be receiving 20 IOC MK1 first, so ADA/HAL have all the time like 2 years to take care of refinements, e.g. the weight of the fighter and drag can be further reduced.

They deleted my question, " Is it possible to add Multiple Ejector Rack (MER) in Tejas ?" but they were busy answering stupid questions if LCA is better than JF-17, F-16 and blah blah blah.:mad:

Sir am no expert.
But one more reply was given to some query.
It read as " Along with the dry thrust Kaveri now in development, there are progressive work being done on engines for future Drones."
Nothing more that this I can say.
The dry thrust engine of Kaveri is in development.
And the know how which we got while developing it will always be helpful.

If you have functioning brain then you realize that we quote our range for standard RCS against 2m2 because their main adversary PAF use small single engine fighter, against world standard 5m2

So common sense is so uncommon ?
LCA MKI F-404 engine life is 6000 hrs & each IAF pilot clocks 200 to 250 hrs annually .
So, a fighter would fly barely 16 minute a day :lol:

APG-77 is quoted for 1m2, IRBIS-E for 3m2. But then why would one expect Mr. Twiddle Dum, to know such simple facts.

Compared to Gripen's 3200, its rather piss poor.

It is with fuel tank Tejas has that figure of 300 KM as well.
He didn't say anything about target size.

Bloody 28* AOA is awesome.

putting AESA, a good EW suite and a BVR missile on the craft makes it as good as any 4th or 4th+ gen aircraft if not better thats not an answer dude thats dodging the question :coffee:

No unless it fly at atleast Mach 1.8 and hit str 18* It shall be a sub standard plane according to me. It need to carry 4+ TON also.
