Well, Gawadar deep seaport is a direct competitor to Iran's Chah Bahar seaport. Doing business through Chah Bahar adds at-least 13 hours to whatever one is transporting, 13 hours of extra fuel, 13 hours of extra time etc. In the presence of Gawadar, nobody would prefer to use Cha Bahar and Iran will not digest this very easily unless Pakistan cuts some type of a deal with Iranian regime. Things are becoming very interesting and with Gawadar seaport and now China-Pakistan economic corridor, we'll witness some interesting action in the region.
