Teesta water flow suddenly exceeds 3,000 cusec

.
only one Teesta has forced BNP to Long March(even tough its not a march, better we call it a "Ride",and not long, rather small),they've some 52 more rivers to secure "Treaty"...looks like "Small Ride" will be needed each and every day.

by the way, anything for OUR cultivation.OUR Boro Fields need water.

.
The water flow in the Teesta marked sudden rise by several times exceeding 3,000 cusec at the Teesta Barrage Project (TBP) point at Dalia in Dimla upazila of Nilphamari from Tuesday noon, official sources said, BSS reports.
‘The Teesta water flow rose to 3,006 cusec at the TBP point at 12 this noon,’ executive engineer of Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB) for the TBP Division at Dalia Mahbubur Rahman informed BSS at 7:35pm today.
‘The Teesta water flow reduced to only 450 cusec in March last, marked negligible rise in recent days and we got 713 cusec water flow on Sunday, 830 cusec on Monday and suddenly 3,006 cusec this noon,’ he added.
He also informed that the TBP authority would be able to irrigate the growing Boro fields cultivated on 65,000 hectares of land in its command area this time in greater Rangpur and Dinajpur from now if the flow remains around 4,000 cusec onwards.
‘We have already diverted the Teesta water through the canals for irrigating Boro fields from today,’ the executive engineer said adding that they have no official information so far on release of water by the authorities of the Gozaldoba Barrage in India.
Mentioned that the affected farmers, common people, different political parties and organisations have been protesting unilateral withdrawal of the common international rivers including Teesta and demanding just water sharing in recent times following drying up of the Teesta.
The Communist Party of Bangladesh and Bangladesher Samajtantrik Dal already completed their joint Teesta March on April 19 last protesting unilateral withdrawal of water the common international rivers by India and demanding just water share.
Besides, Bangladesh Nationalist Party has been organising a road march from Dhaka to the TBP from today and it will be concluded through a rally at Dalia tomorrow (Wednesday) with the same demand.

just one day long march and then ............ :sarcastic::sarcastic::sarcastic::sarcastic:

@Srinivas @Dem!god @levina @Skull and Bones @DRAY @hinduguy @Ayush @nair @Rajaraja Chola and others

Yes, we were AFRAID that the long march would be very long & cross borders

. .
This is outrageous... BD was already getting more than its fair share... Didi needs to wake up...

. .
BDs need investment in many areas. They should bring in GCC investment in Power, Infrastructure, Port and Shipping with Ship building along with Mineral research, extraction and supply.

.
And it will suddenly recede by next two days.
No mystery there.
Phone calls from Delhi to Dhaka is quite busy these days,I must say.

.
Anyone can guess why they did it.
1-BAL requested india to help burst BNP's bubble.
2-BAL is trying to recover popularity(if any was).

I bet it'll be reduced in few days.

looks like govt of india listens to your demand first before listening to their citizen... :(

This proves india only understand language of force, in this case force of Bangladeshi population. It is clear india afraid of popular uprising against indian puppet Awami League. Not to mention prevailing resentment against indian aggression, killing, bully and plundering in Bangladesh.

This act shows how pathetic india is.

So now that you have successfully "intimidated" us I guess your water woes are over, yes? Well that solves it for us, no need for a Teesta water sharing deal, long marches will cover it all.:partay:
