Technically ill-matched Indian Air Force losing ground to PAF

All this according to Pakistani sources! So this is all crap from start to finish.

Otherwise post your independent sources. And by independent I don't mean pro Pakistan sources!

Your calling wikipedia a "pro-pakistani" source?

Indian navy planes can take care of your whole airforce so relax and enjoy a coffee cup.

Keep on underestimating us.

This Article is Biggest Pice of Bull Shit I have read......

The picture in Artcile was for a Cheetak...

If PAF is so great then a) Why didnt they save their infantry in 1999 b) In 2002 ther was not a single Border cross over by PAF...

Haye Mard e Momeen tere nam is se hum Dar Gaye!!

There were however border crosses by IAF, PAF took care of that nice and easy.

If you guys want to hide behind sensationalism, half truths and outright lies to foster a false sense of superiority over the IAF go ahead. If it comes down to it you'll be ripped to shreds and you know it.

Sir last time i checked IAF did sprung into action into Kargil and we saw the result too. And regarding the Ripping to shred part then we would extend formal request to IAF to not back off next time (i really Pray to GOD that there is no next time as wars are no doubt ugly but if it is so then be it).

India's forex reserves had crossed $325 billion for the first time in history which was not the case with Congress led government. My question is what actually led BJP govt to cancel/stall MMRCA deal?

India is a much larger country, 4* the size and 5* the population I think. They have a much bigger system to worry about and have to provide basic needs to a MUCH larger population. India's strongest point (1.2 billion people as a market, is ALSO it weakest one, that she had to provide for so many people and manage a much larger system than Pakistan).

So $ 235 billion are good reserves but they are not something very big in a catastrophic economic downturn or exchange rate or economic throughput degradation.

Pakistan can do a LOT more with $ 150 billion in its reserves than India would with $ 300 billion in its forex reserves. Simply because Pakistan has a much smaller population to cater for and a much smaller area as well. If Pakistan as a nation can grow, you can easily surpass Australia and the UK in the next 10-15 years. Population wise, UK is at number 22 and Australia is at number 50 from a global list of populations by countries. While Pakistan is at number 6. Imagine that!!

What led BJP to cancel the deal, is because they are primarily blindsided with the Indian influence (majority of which is imaginary). Just like members on this forum, BJP's attitude is also similar in terms of India can get anything they want. What they are forgetting is, the businessmen in US, who now have strong relationships with Indian businessmen and lobbyists, are a LOT different in Europe. The French and the Britts, will sell stuff to India, but not with India wanting everything, they'll keep what they think needs to be a secret, like in Rafale's case, they are flat out denying providing certain things from a technology's standpoint, that India thinks because of their ability to have the $$, they can buy without issues.
Plus BJP wants to build at home. Sooner or later, they'll sign a contract with a US manufacturer to manufacture some newer jet in India. I don't think that would happen to a large degree with the Europeans. Russians will also allow for it.

Dear sir,

India's Forex: 354,289 Million USD - 354 Billion
Pakistan's Forex: 16,305 Million USD 16 Billion

Pakistan will take a very long time to get from 16 billion to 150 Billion USD, by the time it reaches 150 Billion, using the same multiplier Indian forex should be 3318 Billion USD...Hope that helps

regards

indian air force should never be underestimated. They still have more 4th and 4.5 generation planes at their disposal than we do, even if more than half their fleet is under maintained and undermanned, not to mention outdated.
No body under estimating IAF. But iaf shouldn't be over estimated as well.

Exactly Sir, our wish list and allocated budget are not is harmony with each other. Like we were forced to settle on 18 F-16s Block 52 when actual order was for around 80 of them.
Who told you this 80 figure.

Sorry for an off topic question,
Just wondering if you have had any exposure to tech transfer project, Internal or external.?

India is a huge country (and largely impoverished) with hegemonic tendencies therefore I think this is a simple case of biting more than they can chew...causing such issues.

LAMO ..what technically I'll matched IAF ...Few F16 Blk 52 and 50 ~ FC 1 is what PAF is all about .

Meanwhile it already lost at least two Mirages a K 8 and few Helis and its June 2015.

Infiltrators had a Ammo/Supply depot at Muntho Dhalo for occupant of adjacent peaks..this is what IAF Mirage 2000 did to that Depot and PAF was nowhere to be seen

P.S: only one Mig was lost to Anza/Stinger that's bcz it was flying at lower altitude, but we avenged that by showcasing those Anzas in our Museums.

So you mean another 9 year long nonsense process just to buy mere 36 jets.
Its not a nonsense process it includes technical evaluation of all fighter's included in the mmrca fighter's india have Now idea about which are better options

Buying 36 rafale is just tip of the iceberg their many project related to it for example Sale of
Damocles targeting pod for IAF aircraft's and ground based radar part of the deals in following
