TDAP’s 7th Expo expected to generate business of $690m

ISLAMABAD - The 7th Four-day Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) Expo Pakistan 2012 is expected to generate a business of US Dollar 690 Million, the organizers said. According to the TDAP sources,they organized the 7th Edition of Expo Pakistan held in Expo Center from October 4 to 7, 2012.
They said that TDAP has had started preparation for organizing this exhibition for last six months.
The soft launching of Expo Pakistan 2012 was held on September 14, 2012 which was attended among others by Federal Minister for Commerce, Makhdoom Amin Faheem, CE TDAP, Tahir Raza Naqvi, Secretary TDAP, Kabir Kazi and large number of diplomats and leading businessmen. The sources added that the inauguration ceremony of Expo Pakistan 2012 was held in Governor House on October 3, 2012 in the presence of Governor of Sindh, Senior Ministers, President FPCCI, diplomats, TDAP management, foreign delegates and exhibitors of Expo Pakistan 2012. The Expo Pakistan 2012 was organized in six (06) halls whereas the last year Expo was held in five (5) halls. This year the fashion shows were conducted in PC Hotel, the sources added.
