Yes

Raised the point in meetings with TDAP. There stand is that Karachi is a much bigger city and foreigners still feel better coming there. Also they point out that there are not enough 5 star hotels in Lahore compared to Karachi so this is another reason. Personally i do not agree much with either of these. :)

Allah Behtar karray??
Arm your Police with dandas and expect Allah to do good……:pop:
Thats a bit unfair bro……
Well let's hope for best…

you should have been there to see the security arrangments. It was good and every thing went well!

Lahore is very far from the sea port, karachi has a sea port so i don't know what you guys are suggesting here?

isolating karachi just because of few miscreats will further damage karachi and its economy and only ill wishers can believe in this

Don't you think LHR would have been a better choice owing to security concerns ? Specially now that LHR has its own Expo center.

i think once tehreek insaaf pathan MPA from Karachi said that Karachi has become a cat house

no surprises that you guys were rejected during elections

and EPB have now become TDAP (Trade Development Authority of Pakistan)

To me, Expo Pakistan 2013 was a success. With foreign buyers showing interest and trusting the security measures the three days of fair saw lots of business. There was a decent number of foreign delegates and buyers visiting Expo this time. What was even better was the response from Exhibitors. I remember three years ago more than 40 percent of the stall were vacant but this time, even with TDAP using all the six halls there was no vacant space. In fact they had to accommodate around 40 stall out of the planned map. This good response from exhibitors will surely promote buyers from around the world to visit us next years as everything was made available under one roof.
Here are a few pictures.

My questions was from a totally operational standpoint man, it had nothing to do with any political party or any specific city. I support whatever's best for Pakistan, be it in Karachi or Lahore. Stop being so defensive.

All of the six halls of the Expo Center saw full activity. The produts and indeustries were divide Hall wise to facilitate the visitors.

Hall 1 hosted the handicrafts and cottage industry products and also had the Malaysian, Hong Kong and Korean pavilions (around 10 to 15 different companies from each of these countries had booked stall at the fair). The foreign pavilions showed the trust of international business community in Pakistan and the hard work of TDAP.

Here are a few pics from Hall 1
