What's new

Tata is owner of Tata-Daewoo Pakistan

Pakistanis (and least of all Bangladeshis) should have no reason to be worried about the presence of Tata's investments.

It is a purely business conglomerate and has a long proven history of ideal citizenship in the host countries. Its investments in sustainable development are exemplary in all the countries it has invested in, including India and the United States.

And Tata Sons' biggest stockholder is not even an Indian. Pallonji Mistri, a Parsi, is a citizen of Ireland.

.
Recently I came across something interesting. South Korea, the highly successful vehicle manufacturing nation has become involved with India and Indian companies in unusual ways. And some of these Korean companies are involved in Pakistan:

And here is Daewoo wiki page:

So looks like India is using Korea to reach Pakistan, Middle-east and Central Asia market. SsangYong Motors is also owned (70%) by Mahindra & Mahindra:

Korea and India apparently are strategic partners:

What's your point anyway bro?

Pakistan is merely cutting of its nose to spite its face by not allowing any real Indian automotive presence in their nation. Pakistan has the 6th largest car producing nation on the planet on its border that exports to Europe and the US and yet doesn't take advantage of this? Then I've heard that you can buy better cars for significantly less in India because foreign brands have a monopoly in the Pakistan market. Opening up to Indian brands would increase competition and improve the picture across the board for consumers.

To call this current situation stupid is a severe understatement.

KPK was purchased by Great Britain whereas Balochistan was also British colony like Myanmar & British instead of ruling all these territories separately, name them & ruled them together.

This is British India, and Pakistan was carved out of it

.
If Pakistan was never a part of India, then what was 1947 partition? And where did you got the information that Baluchistan and KPK were not part of undivided India. Is this what is taught in history books in Pakistan.

LOL NWFP was actually Afghanistan divided by Brits in 1923 i think and Baluchistan was invaded by Brits. Even then it was mostly independent and lawless from Brit control and so was NWFP.

And before independence of Pakistan we were part of British India and before that were part of Muslim empire of South Asia!

What u mean by ''part of India'' is nowhere in history.

What South Asia.?...It was India. Pakistan was carved out of India. Afghanistan, Nepal and Bhutan are part of South Asia, but never a part of British India.

Pakistan will not be in the same situation in future as it is in the present. It would cost Indian companies more to divest their investment rather than retain some foothold. The moment Pakistan opens its door for Indian investments, Pakistan would be hotly contested destination among Indian companies. There is nothing philanthropic here. Indians understands Pakistan demographics better than any country on the earth hence a ready made market, and second majority of Pakistan resides just on the other side of border, hence no logistics nightmares or supply chain costs.

Rubbish!

India has only reached in a better position then Pak in 90s when it opened the doors for FDI and we were sanctioned by West. hence bringing our economy down.

Even after 2001 our Economy was back on track and we were growing at rate of 8% in 2006-07 season. and we were second fastest growing economy in Asia.

Here is a report i found from 2005 abt our economy.

Pakistan has become one of Asia's fastest growing economies

This report is quoting the financial analysts of Voice Of America.

The reality is this that we actually dont need u nor yr help we can do things on our own its just WOT which is hurdle thats all.

And if u r so sincere with us then Leave Kashmir alone let it be rightfully Part of Pak. If ur occupying Pakistan's territory then we WILL NEVER LET U HAVE ANY ADVANTAGE OF OUR COUNTRY AND LOCATION.

And its only China who understands the demographics of Pak rightfully.

.
British India or Mugol India, it is India.

there was no india before/on the independence of Pakistan, it came into existence after the independence of Pakistan..

so look mate:

British India/Rule/Empire remains British India/Rule/Empire

mogul Empire/India/Rule remains mogul Empire/India/Rule

not India, but if you believe India existed or gave independence to Pakistan, then all I can tell you is you heard a story similar to a toothfary story (if you dont know toothfaries never existed) :p
