What is this going on after the blast, have people lost senses or someone using the situation. Is Karachi tense?

.
Can anybody through more light on this topic?

.
Is there by any chance a pattern in these killings?? Party affiliations, ethnicity etc??

^^ Too soon to tell. But seeing the ever-widening differences between the PPP and MQM these days, I'm afraid this is more likely to escalate then minimise.

Zardari is playing a very dangerous game to in false hopes to save his chair.

Very wrong guess. It is political murders mostly. Nothing to do with taliban

Coming on the heels of the explosion in Karachi last week, I would rather think that it is the law agencies getting even with the terrorists or could also be a revenge against the burning of the shops..... but then, mere speculations....

^ I agree..most probably done by LEA"s to neutralize the threats.

More target killings: 2 Haqiqi men, cleric killed in separate incidents

KARACHI: Two more persons belonging to Mohajir Qaumi Movement-Haqiqi (MQM-H) and a cleric were shot dead on Monday as the current wave of target killings in the city continues unabated.
The death toll of political and religious workers killed in incidents of target killings in the last four days has risen to 13.

A 35-year-old activist of the MQM-H was gunned down within the limits of Landhi police station. According to police officials, the victim’s body was found in a Suzuki high-roof vehicle parked near the deceased’s residence located at Lane 1, Landhi. The deceased was identified as Mohammad Yamin, who was affiliated with the MQM-H.

Similarly, another MQM-H worker named Mohammad Ramzan, 38, was shot dead in the limits of Saudabad police station. Police officials while confirming the affiliation of the deceased with the MQM-H said that unidentified armed culprits shot him dead near the Liaquat Market, Malir. The victim, a pushcart-vendor, was returning home when the incident took place.

Separately, an elderly cleric affiliated with the Jamaat-e-Ahle Sunnat was gunned down within the limits of the Shah Latif police station. Police officials said the 55-year-old Syed Ameer Hussain Shirazi, a resident of Gulshan-e-Askari, was on his way to Ghausia Masjid located near his residence when armed men on a motorbike shot him and easily managed to flee from the scene. The victim, hailing from Punjab, received multiple bullet wounds and was rushed to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre where doctors pronounced him dead. Could also be the Indians trying to ignite some sort of violence in Karachi on the heels of the Ashura attack - target kill a couple of political workers on either side to light the fire and the rest takes care of itself.

MQM- A and MQM-H have no love lost for each other and have a history of such violence, but on the heels of the Ashura attacks, with little public build up in tensions between the two sides, I don't see that old rivalry as being the spark here.
