Kamal Hasan has now lost any chance of making good in elections.

A part reason for ADMK winning second time was because of its perceived siding with Hindus and people's dislike of DMK's minority appeasement. This is because of Hindus consolidating in TN. This consolidation is invisible because they are with yet an another Dravidian party. If they have consolidated behind BJP then it will be more visible.

In any tri-lateral election contest in Tamil Nadu DMK would have won handsomely because the ADMK's vote will have split (comparatively more) to Kamal Hasan party. But due to his anti-Hindu stand becoming more public the votes split from DMK will be much less. So I think DMK's victory will be doubtful.

Anyway this is my guess, in election anything can happen.
