TTP scumbags are way to much good at politics, parliamentarians of constitutional avenue are nowhere in vicinity. They want to fail the negotiation process but in a way that all the blame at the end goes to GoP. A political mean to remain heroes in the eyes of their sympathizers.

I still think that killing more Taliban will lead to marterization of these people, and thus new recruits for their cause in the long run. Much like the Palestinian conflict is put on an infinite time scale by the same method.

The solution is to let them live, let them have a territory, be clear about them needing to restrict their way of life to that jurisdiction and no more, and finally to mold that cause of theirs somewhat, to be internationally respectable (no physical punishments for social/religious "minor offenses" for instance)..

Or do you intend to slaughter the Taliban and/or oppress them for a thousand years? Those are not the best solutions available, i'd say.

their behaviour shows they are not serious about peace talks, they just want to maintain their upper hand, the state is showing weakness listening to these terrorists, they should not give them leverage when our armed forces is strong
