The Taliban Blitzkrieg in the last few weeks has startled every defence expert in the world. Many key districts surrounding the main cities of Afghanistan have fallen to the Taliban. They have also got their hands on at least 149 humvees, Dozens of Howitzers and many other US hardware. Recently some images have surfaced of some Crack Taliban Commando units.

Mark my words, with talibs at least our western border will be safe. And all Baloch camps will also be rooted out.

Last time they brought trouble to us by harboring Al-Qaeda. This time God knows what will they bring. There is a reason why Pakistan don't want them in Kabul & a statement of sealing borders.
Last time they had diplomatic recognition, atleast by three countries. I don't see that happening this time.
The only way to secure our western borders is to fence it & create buffer zones within Afghanistan if dirty games spill over.
US/Nato have left behind another mess for Pakistan to deal with. It's in our best interest to keep this mess away from our borders without becoming a party to it.

This time even india will try to recognize them. And USA was bound to be here anyway. After Iraq war and after the destruction of Syria, that purpose is anyway done. So Al qaida or no Al qaida. Doesn't matter.

They captured weapons, comms gear, uniforms, and ANA insignia vehicles. Specially trained units with the associated tactics that title implies and with all this gear could lead to some unique attacks.

Secondly, with all the districts they are overrunning their logistical tail must be heavily extended, they maybe mobilizing all of the personable or at least recruiting new people to help resupply their units (besides what they are capturing) and man all the posts they have taken, otherwise easy come easy go.

Finally if they have manpads or ATGMs this maybe when they use ‘em. Expected the “Afghan Air Force” (drones mostly) to mount massive counter attacks.

If they are really working with the Iranians, they may get those new cruise missile SAMs from Iran, along with some of the equipment the Houthis have been using.

Iran may be about to exert its revenge in Afghanistan with their new hardliner President.

P.s. what’s the status of Khost? Probably one of the last strongholds from which the TTP probably hold a base right on the border.

Everyone in Pakistan who is cheering for TTA should be atleast somewhat apprehensive. Modern weapons, artillery, ATGM and potentially MANPADS in the hands of rogues can never be good for us. Imagine some BLA/ TTP broker getting their hands on MANPADS for instance. This is definitely going to further complicate the already complex security paradigm of the region.

I doubt anyone will recognise them after they proved how diplomaticaly immature they are.
There is nothing to be gained diplomatically after being labelled as Taliban sympathisers.
They gave US a reason to invade. Anyways point is, they are trouble seekers & their presence on our borders is bound to attract trouble as it did last time.
Regional actors (India - Iran - Russia) will not sit quitely for Taliban to take over but will actively compete for influence through their proxies.
Afghanistan is in for another round of bloody civil war & Pakistan is bound to be adversely affected by it.

There wont be any civil war if taliban keeps up the pace and takes over the country in months. Also taliban are way more reliable and acceptable then the current afghan govt, a clear indian puppet and whose officials openly abuse Pakistan.
They are taking most areas without a fight and actually including every group in governing the districts. This time over they will be recognized by big powers like china and russia.

Iran and Russia aren't on Indian side in Afghanistan. Get your facts correct.
